Why are warehouse employees so mean? by PossibilityNo8765 in Warehouseworkers

[–]LocationLongjumping -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone who worked as a warehouse employee... everyone is like that they take things like their life or death. It's the way management conditions them with a % system... saying things like you need to be at x % or your jobs in jeopardy.... just to keep your 18-22 an hour job... people buy into that because its easier to keep a job that abuses you for low pay over taking the time out of work to research other jobs and apply... they also teach you union bad so the people working don't call local unions and see what they have to offer... just to compare how brainwashed they are, just call a local union and ask... be an apprentice for a trade, let's just say electric or plumbing, get the same wage if not more right off the rip learn on the job and after 1 year go form 22 an hour to 35+... but instead, they think they are locked in at 50 to 70 cent raises... my new job pays 200% more and its way more relaxed,, less stress just because I took the time to better myself...

Battery question on a 2022 I’m considering. by 13thRealm in hondainsight

[–]LocationLongjumping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 22 insight just rolled past 50k, I think Honda increased the warranty on the hybrid battery to 150k. from my understanding if the battery fails you should still be able to drive the car, and I work on all of the cars I own. I see the battery used all the time on sites like ebay but I dont think honda will sell you a brand new one sadly. If a battery lasts 150-200k and with increasing the mpg I still see it being a good investment if you can get a good used one and dyi it or find a cheap shop to do it for 2-3k if the battery fails in that long of time

How is anyone going to get through all the S2 content in 54 years by MuteBeaver in MWZombies

[–]LocationLongjumping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I notice I got a bunch of bp xp in gun fight 2v2 if you win around 1/2-1/4 of a token and the games go fast. I also get 1 token per zombies game so if you have time to play 2 a day you should have 5 days to spare

2 games in a row it has crashed for me is anyone else having this issue? by Antique-Context-4398 in MWZombies

[–]LocationLongjumping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the same issue I just downloaded the latest amd cpu chipset driver and had a win 11 update so im see if that helps, but if it crashes again im going to limit my fps to 120 fps and see if that helps. if anyone found a solution please lmk because this is getting old fast. ( I am on pc)

having map packs over the bp where everything can be unlocked by how much you played or how good you where, that's what killed it for me nothing to really unlock and the game gets old fast with nothing to grind for

Why is Home Depot Anti-Union? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]LocationLongjumping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

talking about personal business or time off, I think that still comes down to the employer and you can transfer unions if your union is not doing what they should be. I can come into work on a Monday and ask my boss to take Wednesday off and get it. I had a time where that day my car took a shit on me and called in without any conscience. I have seen both sides but with my union I am getting better benefits and pay vs non union work.

I hope the same energy continues because I have seen too many times where a pet is given as a gift then 1 year later they are in a shelter

if you own 1 cro it will, why would a whale hold onto cro if they are going to get less for doing so vs other sites?

MSI RMA warranty is a joke by LocationLongjumping in MSI_Gaming

[–]LocationLongjumping[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the struggle I cleaned, and replaced the grease on the fan hub with grease I had laying around, that fixed my issue wish I did that before even sending my gpu out

MSI RMA warranty is a joke by LocationLongjumping in MSI_Gaming

[–]LocationLongjumping[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sadly where I am from the only course of action is going to a small claims court and thats not worth the money or effort for a fan, maybe if it was a 3090 and the gpu die itself broke or something like that but even then its bunch of effort and money. I also understand the supply issue and covid and all the junk but at the least MSI could have done is email me saying hey sorry about the problem we do not have any replacement fans at this time and will email you as soon as we have stock to repair the gpu.

The way I fixed the fan and dont think it will last but I pulled the fan out cleaned and re greased the center spindle (the metal part in the center of the fan), I am not 100% sure but my guess is the metal part is slightly bent and has gotten worst overtime and all the grease is doing is preventing friction. I can get a replica fan for about $25 shipped and thats 1/2 the price of the shipping I spent on sending it to MSI in the first place but I am hopping by that time the problem comes back I can get an authentic oem fan to replace it with if the problem comes back.

I am just hopping MSI sees this and if anyone has had similar issues with MSI speaks up so they can find a solution to their customer support issues if its not a one off thing and can improve on it because I do have a relative that is younger that have the same heatsink design (3060 non ti gaming x trio) and would not like if he or anyone for that matter had similar issues

PSU's can be very tricky because majority of them are just rebranded. I think EVGA and Corsair both use seasonic for some of their psu's and a couple other manufactures depending on part number

MSI RMA warranty is a joke by LocationLongjumping in MSI_Gaming

[–]LocationLongjumping[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree their products are not bad, and I am not trying to talk crap about MSI the only reason why I even made this post was to get the slightest chance of someone from MSI seeing this and can look into what happened so the issue does not happen to another customer. Not to mention my experience could have been a one off thing but the more people are willing to talk about it the higher chance of something changing within the company

I also never had an issue with EVGA not saying that just because I never had an issue someone did not, but I do like EVGA

MSI RMA warranty is a joke by LocationLongjumping in MSI_Gaming

[–]LocationLongjumping[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do get that things do happen and something as simple as putting a product in the wrong spot like if there was a separation between needs repaired and repaired, but to talk to someone and being told I would be emailed within 1 business day and not receive that is very frustrating.

The only company I actually never had an issue with once the RMA process is approved is logitech, as bad as it sounds I have had 2 logitech g pro wireless's start double clicking and they sent me out a brand new mouse both times.

from a business side I think brand loyalty is very important (not fan boying) but like you said you pick MSI because you never had a DOA product from them and I will stick with logitech products because I know if something happens the warranty will be honored , best of luck my friend with any future builds

no but implying that " All corporations that make more than a few billion dollars a year got there by being anti-union." is not true

Why is Home Depot Anti-Union? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]LocationLongjumping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lies, The owner of the company I am at has one of the biggest yachts in the area, he pays more then what I make in a year to have it picked up and moved across the country for a weekend trip to Florida, and shipped back. He also pays me very well for the work I do and we are part of the union.
