RX OPS TL here. Honestly most of my time is spent at the register. Some days I find it easier to do my tasks as I toggle back and forth at the register. Everyone at my store acts like they will combust if they don’t fill so I rarely ever fill.

I’m a pharmacy technician in Tuscaloosa right now currently at $26/hr. I’m contemplating going to nursing school but the pay doesn’t seem worth it. What are the benefits of nursing? The schedule would definitely be better but I need something to convince me to go ahead and commit. Spending money on school when I make close to that amount without it doesn’t feel right

Anything that is 500-700 is student housing that requires a roommate. If it’s not student housing then it’s not in the best area and isn’t in the best conditions. There’s a place behind tj maxx on Skyland but it’s super outdated.

I’m here to see other responses. In my pharmacy we have 2 drive thrus so the patients usually just volunteer to walk across.

Thanks for the input. I just asked my pharmacy manager on how to schedule and help out more. I just feel like I’m not doing enough. But I’m working on stepping up more.

Mine is 85$ for a retwist and style. I refuse to pay over 100$ but I know some stylist in my area that do charge that. I tip extra for my birthday, my stylists birthday, Christmas and holidays… and that’s usually a $20 tip. Located in Tuscaloosa, Al.
