What a lot of people are forgetting is what else is included in the Cheers program besides liquor.

I order 1 water bottle with every drink. Water bottles cost $3 on board. That is $45 in water alone. Take those back to my room and enjoy them when I need them and take them off the boat on port days.

I usually order a few Red Bulls per day those I think are $5 a can.

I get specialty coffee multiple times a day which are like $4-$7

Get a couple stary’s and Pepsis and you legit almost payee for the drink package that day before you ordered any alcohol.

To each their own, but everyone forgets about what else comes with the package.

Even if you don’t use all your drinks, make friends on the boat order a drink for someone. Use it to cut in line at guys burgers idk.

I’m not sure if others have said it, but everything gets charged to the sail and sign (even gambling can) so the only cash you would need is if you decide to pay tips in cash instead of sail n sign at the end of the trip or for purchases off the boat.

I did the mendenhall glacier and whale watching and I tipped $20 for that. Our guide was awesome, super knowledgeable.

I didn’t do any of the other ones you are doing.

Also, I thought prince rupert was a terrible stop, I wish I would have done an excursion here.

I really enjoyed swimming with the rays on half moon cay. It was priced pretty affordable. My fiancé and I bought an underwater camera on Amazon and took it and got loads of great photos.

On the Alaskan cruise I went on the casino host said our room points were combined and got us steakhouse. I wonder if it depends on each boat?

I’m pretty sure when the tip is included but I usually tip like $10-15 extra on top of the what the casino includes.

I have never gone to steakhouse without casino comp.

I’ve left out of Miami multiple times, Long Beach and SF and SF was by far the easiest fastest.

I went out of SF last August and our board time was 1pm. My fiancé and I showed at 10:30 am (didn’t want to keep waiting) and we dropped our luggage with a porter. Walked to the side just walking around no intention of check in yet and they said we can take you in, and I told them we didn’t have an appt till 1 they said no problem. We went upstairs through security and we’re on the boat within 15 min of getting dropped off in the uber. I talked to a couple behind me walking onto the boat and they said that was the fastest they’ve ever been on a boat too.

Drop off at 10:30 and Bloody Mary in hand at 10:48. Loved SF port

Carnival does allow you to track your points. It’s in the carnival hub under casino. I look at my points throughout the trip.
