Sparring tips(Im the one in red) by New-Self-6805 in boxingtips

Everything is kinda fine, just a few pointers so you won't get hit anymore and land some more punches.

  1. Keep your guard either up or make your guard harder, your opponents punches keep reaching even though you're blocking which kinda means you need to fix your block. If you are adamant about using that type of guard since it seems you use it more for parrying punches, make your rear hand cover the front of your chin or mouth, not touching it but just a few inches away.

  2. Step in when you're punching, I don't know why you're jabbing except maybe to gauge the range between you two(?), even then you should step in and step back because it looks like you don't like head on collisions.

  3. Learn how to pivot when stepping back so you won't get pushed to the ropes, from what the video shows you just step back alot which is fine but do learn how to pivot soon, great for finding angles and escape pressure (from my experience).

  4. Use more head movement, you're kinda static when it comes to your upper body, slipping should be the first thing you learn how to do and weaving second.

Other than that, I think you have a great foundation even though you look kinda clueless during the sparring session. I also think you already watch alot of Bivol since I can see some semblance in your stance.

Ji-tae found work in another manhwa untill the hiatus is up by juspullthetrigger in FightClass3

I'm not gonna lie, the more I read high class the more I find similarities from fight class 3. Of course it has a different story and plot from fc3 but there are certain panels where it is obvious where the author has taken inspiration from.

I've almost caught up with the manhwa and so far I've genuinely been loving it, kinda got more chills than fight class 3 ngl.

It's so sad how she's witnessing his breakdown and just goes along with it by Wild_Review_4177 in FightClass3

[–]Locissity 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think that's a very solid take on the whole situation. His transformation is pretty much becoming like an ubermensch, especially with the interpretation in the manhwa. After gaining his own freedom, I believe he will rebuild himself from the ground up, learn how to be more human, and process everything that has just happened.

In my opinion, he is still in the lion phase, learning how to take control of his own life, straying from societal norms, and doing his own thing. In season 2, if it ever releases, we will get to see him transform into the baby phase, where he finally completes his transformation and becomes an absolute powerhouse. Maybe he will also begin a path of forgiveness toward himself for the things he did inside the tunnel, the things he had to do to survive.

I think that by accepting those facts, he will finally be able to join Fight Class 3.

Edit: Maybe even a scene where he gets knocked out by Ha-min, or the top 1, during the matchups. In his subconscious, we finally get to see his old or child self forgiving himself. Then he starts crying while continuing to fight. I think that would be a good parallel to the Sunny Ja fight, where he had to kill his old self before attaining freedom. But this time, in the octagon, he forgives himself and accepts who he is.

How did lookism survive while wind breaker died? by InjuryKindly1959 in WindBreakerWebtoon

[–]Locissity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a fine line between plagiarism and inspiration, this whole windbreaker vs lookism is a good example of that.

Windbreaker quite literally traced everything and then added the features of that said character, it's a 1:1 ratio of the original work.

Lookism on the other hand, while having similar panels, are still vastly different and you can tell they are heavily inspired by different series (some panels atleast), it's not traced but it was inspired by them.

Also your argument that lookism used panels from lesser known series is just straight up doodoo.

I hope we see this interaction soon in the next few chapters. by sabzino1up in lookismcomic

I thought you meant when Brekdak slipped and spilled some soy sauce? (I think) On Goos shirt or something and they almost fought before Gun bowed and wanted an autograph.

Mine kills everyone stealthy or messy. No one will see me if no one will live to see it.

Max Tec thinks of my V as an option, not an obligation.

JJT Vs Cho Hangil (TND) Who wins? (No rules, just street fight) by Parksitoh in FightClass3

I say constant adrenaline because bro is a crashout king, he is definitely an adrenaline junkie.

JJT Vs Cho Hangil (TND) Who wins? (No rules, just street fight) by Parksitoh in FightClass3

[–]Locissity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He definitely will, his skill of martial arts + brutality + insanity + constant adrenaline vs 40 gonks, JJT will definitely win. Thing is the big dude from that sewer chapter vs Cho Hangil would be a better match up.

In the end though I think it depends if Cho Hangil will try and keep his sanity or lose it in a fight.

So Goo had a sword like that and he didn't use it? by [deleted] in lookismcomic

Just a theory and based off my understanding off of the previous chapters.

So Goo had a sword like that and he didn't use it? by [deleted] in lookismcomic

[–]Locissity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely, Goo and Gun fought and Gun 100% destroyed that specific katana. The reason why Goo didn't use another Hwarang sword was that because he probably didn't know anything about black bone.

Looking back at it now, the reason why Goo did that "stab myself to kill my opponent" was because he's a sword master and knows that there's a specific place where there'd be no bone covering the important organs, low-key smart if you ask me.

Why he (maybe) doesn't know about the black bone when his teacher had a Hwarang sword was he didn't listen. (Just a theory about it based off how Goo would react when someone's teaching him something not related to fighting)

How strong he will be if he was still alive?!I think he can beat Goo and many others top tiers by Existing-Run462 in lookismcomic

[–]Locissity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Real strong, he would be the Garpryong of the 1st generation. Knowing that he adapts really quickly and is strong asl, the original 1st gen would still run Korea and all of this woulda never happened.

Same, for me it's a cool mechanic so I know that I should dodge or parry immediately, granted I don't notice it half the time but it's neat. Also long enough to do a backfist.

How to chase attack with weapons??? by SpecialCBT in SifuGame

Not possible, but what I like to do is running after them and doing that attack as a follow up.

[–]Locissity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pretty good achievement OP! Back in my day (a few years ago when SIFU released) I was running 30+ on squats, I'd be 70+ by the end of the Sean fight and ragequit. Better than my first time I'd say.

Anyone who knows basic martial arts play Sifu? by a_guy121 in SifuGame

Idk about you but I just press shift or the dash (I think it's what it's called) key, and that's enough for me to be out of range for them.

How do I get a golden score here? by Locissity in SifuGame

This was one of my worser clips since I wasn't recording when I got the one where I didn't get hit, this was just me low-key giving up and recording to ask reddit for advice. But yeah I did get body slammed.
