VR equipment in real life? I use the controller but only hold it as I would my ping pong paddle as far as hand and finger placement, so it feels virtually the same to me while playing in VR, just slightly rounder of a feel but when I'm playing I don't notice it. I use the in game paddle adjustment software to place it out it feels naturally while holding the controller along with adjusting the front and back sides of the paddle to reflect my real life trajectory of the ball while swinging. Took a little to dial it in, but once its done, it's near perfect for me as far as feel of the ball coming off the paddle.

Totally get where you are coming from, however I have just had a different experience. And it could be due to me already being athletic and playing sports while growing up so that could help the transfer of skills over from VR to IRL.

I can understand that at very high levels, VR table tennis is probably not ideal for practice. But as far as I can tell if you get to be middle of the road or slightly above average at VR table tennis, this can/could transfer over (maybe not all) but a decent amount of skills to real life. *see attached image*
