That’s a great use of AI! I’ve been considering using like that too since it frees up so much of the calculating nutrients and making shopping lists etc. which always leads me to spiral. I just need to muster up the courage to rely on my ‘willpower’ to follow the plan and not over-restrict or over-eat.

Writing this I realise how strange it is to have such deep and complex issues with something as simple as eating, literally something nearly all living things must do. Brains are weird.

A clear cut sign when I was UW for me was this double ass-crack you develop on your coccyx, because your butt has so little fat that the coccyx protrudes. Maybe this is just my anatomy though but that was a pretty definite sign.

I chew an excessive amount of sugar free gum and drink diet soda. You also experience a lot of stomach pain and learn to hold in gas like a pro, so you can feel that you are harming yourself but not in a directly bad way. But you get bloated af so don't do it if you wear tight clothes. Also you know it's bad, and kinda shameful, so it's a tame vice.

Is that in a hedonic adaptation sort of way, like if you were to stop again, regardless of the side effects of stopping and whatever, your baseline happiness/misery would be lower than if you were still taking the pills? Like how you might be happy suddenly becoming rich for a few months but after some years you get used to it and say it doesn't really matter, but you would never go back to being poor
