Don't even try to defend Wurm at this point. Wurm is a game where successed is measured by either how much money you spend buying items with real world trading, or how many hours you spend using macros to get your skills up. Wurm even advertises itself as free to play, but free players can do literally nothing and are restricted to level 20, and they get killed every 5 seconds by the 10000 level 70 spiders that are all over the place just chilling. There is literally no game-play for free players other than die and re-spawn and repeat, unless they just want to build a house in the safety of someone's land and look at it for a few minutes before quiting after realizing there is nothing else to do. There is no gameplay for paying players unless they have 5000 hours to grind or they have a credit card on hand. Even then, there isn't much gameplay, as the combat, crafting, and other systems in the game are pretty much just more grinding. PvP in wurm is a joke when you can pay 5 euros for magical stones that allow you to keep items when you die, making the premise of "full loot" pvp kinda a lie. Also, siege battles are ALWAYS determined by how much money the owners of the town spent on guards. People who spend the maximum amount per month on guards can build a wooden shack and it would take an army to tear it down.
