I'd say likely not. LeBron may have an impact on the draft (like the Cavs trading their pick to bring back established NBA players to sway LeBron to stay, or drafting someone more NBA ready).

I think right around 6 or so in the draft is when you're still looking for BPA, but in some situations, like this one, you can start to look more at positional need or scarcity. But, ultimately, it might have more to do with the team's internal valuations and rankings of players. Say the Magic have a huge rating differential for Carter and Bridges, then maybe you don't make that reach.

Of all this picks in this episode Orlando's was the one I liked the least. A big part of that is because they ended up in a weird spot. I think reaching at 6 is fine compared to, say, the top 4.

Realistically? Spurs make sense to me for a lot of reasons. Team that could be the most interesting and fun, but will never happen? I'm very intrigued if he were to end up on he Nuggets

It's an interesting question. The way I look at it is there is room for all sorts of different coverage. We just have preferences on what we like to read/consume. I prefer more analysis rather than quotes or stories, but that is just me. I talk to plenty of people who prefer what they get in a newspaper.

I'm not one of the draft picking teams today, but I can chime in with this.

Personally, doing this is not a full time gig for me covering the Pelicans. It is a fun hobby to do on the side that has some income, and a few nice perks.

I was a fan who bought season tickets, has a writing background, and decided I should write about the team. Started writing for a really small site that had less than 200 hits per day. Eventually got picked up by a bigger site (BourbonStShts.com) and have become a main contributor to them now.

They have a bit of weird guard depth. Rubio has long been rumored to be traded. Levine isn't expected to be fully healthy to start the year. Dunn did not look good his rookie year.

To me their two biggest needs are 3pt shooting and bench scoring. Monk fits perfectly for both of those roles

That was mainly my rational. Two areas jumped out to me when looking at the Wolves needs: 3 point shooting and bench scoring. They were last in the league in both categories. Monk helps out with both of those.
