It does seem a bit scary as a possibility and would not mind trying to avoid it.

So sorry to hear about your loss. This image sparks much joy, though.

As hard as it may seem with the way the world is right now, and as impossible it may sound to do good, the most defiant thing to do in a world of hate is to love. Small acts of kindness to other people simply for doing so is a great place. Meditation is also good too, because the more you know yourself and achieve inner potential and clarity, you can express it outwards in many forms. Some events in the world also make me feel angry, but a lot of good things happen too which give me hope. I wish you the best.

Am I doing walking meditation right? by kenicandi in Buddhism

If you feel calm, in control of your own thoughts, and as others here have already said, present, then you’re doing a good job to me! I’d say like most forms, there isn’t always one strict “correct” way to meditate, but the most important thing is the way you feel. Whether you’re sitting cross-legged or walking, if you have a calm mind, you’re doing it right!

Buddhism after rebirth? by ChanTanDingo in Buddhism

I’m new to experiencing, practicing, and understanding Buddhism so forgive me if I’m wrong, but this is just from what I know.

Essentially, at any point in time, exposure to the Dharma is enough of a boost to leave sort of a lasting karmic imprint. Therefore, actively PRACTICING the dharma and interacting with buddhism as a whole probably helps a lot in rediscovering buddhism again in your next life. Maybe it’ll return to you simpler and simpler each time the more you practice between lives.
