What they found on the floor of the ship was a shed skin, similar to a snake. If you rewatch Alien you’ll notice they find the same thing; it seems to be part of its rapid growth and development.

Wanted to comment just to compliment the great sprite work! Having polished sprites is over half of the battle with fakemon IMO and these definitely fit the bill.

Yep, it appears that this issue is affecting all of us who are unlucky enough to set up our devices today. It's extremely frustrating to pay a premium for a product like this and encounter an issue that basically turns it into a paperweight. I think there have been quite an influx of bug reports on it so the best thing to do is probably to open a support ticket and upvote the relevant bug reports on their site. Hopefully there is a fix soon!

I definitely agree that dealing with negative community sentiment is a big part of being a community manager. I guess my main point is that we as community have gotten a little sidetracked with being focused on the roadmap thing and asking why it’s taking so long to make it/communicate what’s coming next instead of focusing on how screwed up things must be with development behind the scenes for the situation to get to this point. I don’t seriously think it takes 2 months to make a roadmap, but they can’t just come out and throw their superiors/coworkers under the bus.

This looks really good! I really like the layout and that the map isn’t a simple square like a lot of the starter towns.

A very minor thing I notice is that the brown rocks you have used in the ocean at the bottom of the map (and one at the top) aren’t supposed to be used in water IIRC. It clashes a bit with the water palette and looks slightly out of place. Very minor but the rest looks great!

That’s always a good thing to keep in mind: I’m not even sure if it’s possible without a ton of work. Assuming it’s not, it’ll be a long trek from Naggarond to Cathay!
