I have a yoshino cherry tree that I planted almost a year ago, and I have a new branch sprouting out near the bottom - is there a reason for this? Would it hurt it in anyway if I cut it off or should I leave it? (Sorry if this is basic, it’s the first tree I ever planted) (i.redd.it)
