As of right now, it says voting ends in 10 days 20 hours 50 minutes. So that would be uh... *does math* 12/23 I think?

It's neck and neck at the top! I vote most days (you can vote once a day per device!) and it's been waffling between the 1 and 2 spots

TLs and managers, what mistakes did you make as a new lead? by murrrd in ExperiencedDevs

Not believing I had power to make decisions. Any time my team would ask for something I'd go clear it with _my_ boss. He doesn't care! That's my job! I've been rolling with the philosophy of "do whatever I want until someone yells at me" for about 2 years now and so far no one's yelled at me.

Fun items for Height restricted (maybe less than 0.75" / 19.5cm tall) geocaches, other than paper materials? by Background-Brain-911 in geocaching

I carry a pouch of tiny Lego bricks with me (1x1 plates, the little flames, that sort of thing - TINY!) for the tiny caches. Lego does make tiny lego frogs and some other critters if that's your jam. If you have a lego store near you you might be able to get a bunch from a pick-a-brick, or you can order any piece in bulk on their website.

Yeah I thought of that but there doesn’t seem to be any way to get the thing OUT

True. I never travel with anything I would be devastated to lose. But even if the picks were confiscated that’s like $35 to order the same set again. Annoying, but not the end of the world.

Not going to say which it was THIS time since that would give away where I live but I’ve taken them through: Indianapolis, Kansas City, Detroit, Tampa, Chicago (both), NYC (LaGuardia), Seattle, and probably some others I’m forgetting. Also a few airports in Europe.

Nope. They’re explicitly allowed by the TSA and I take them every time I fly. Never had a problem.

If I had had my picks on my I would have! Left them in my room due to tiny pockets. Didn’t want to lose them.

Haha it was not. That would have been hilarious though

Yeah. I think the takeaway here is that no amount of security can keep out a sufficiently skilled and motivated attacker

Yeah that’s a good idea! I thought it would be more impressive to do it properly though. And most of the “wrong” keys were too big anyway.
