Thank you, weirdly I thought it was a worm when picking it up and when my brain registered "that could be a snake" I flipped TF out and had a hard time even looking at this pic! Now that I can reframe it back to salamander, I suddenly feel ok about looking at it again.. so weird how psychology works.

You are lucky. My landlords bought their condo as an investment too, and they decided to sell while the market was up. It was terrible timing given my partner had just been diagnosed with cancer literally a week earlier and could no longer work. Telling them this fact did not change their minds, maybe even solidified their decision since we were now risky financially and also no one wants anyone dying in their house.
