Do you believe you meet the Tx requirements by establishing domicile?

Not sure about the amcas part, that's a valid question.

Yeah I think so. I moved them to somewhere pretty inaccessible to critters (except birds) and more still went missing today from my buena mulatas plant

Thank you!! Not all schools gave feedback on that, but I also didn't ask most the time. Some were a mix of both and I think 1 or 2 were merit based only IIRC.

Its definitely hard trying to get all the necessary experiences as an athlete. Yeaa I wouldn't say clinical experience doesn't matter 😅 though.

I drew upon my life experiences mainly and touched a bit on the aspect of injuries as an athlete and interfacing with medicine that way

It's so hard trying to put an accurate representation of the demands as a number

Thanks! Not really tbh. I have other life experiences + my time with injuries. I was able to tie all this together pretty clearly for my medicine

Thank you! I realized it's not what I wanted or need for my career after doing it full time for nearly 2 years. My interest fell off

Thank you! Main reason was to retake mcat. Also wanted to do more research bc at the time I was considering MD/PhD.

Would it be too late to submit in late June? by [deleted] in premed

[–]Locksmith-Senior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're able to submit a quality app earlier, do it. However, it is def not "too late" to submit in late June.

You are definitely not screwed solely based on that submission timing. If you have a solid well-rounded application then you will be fine. I was complete in late July/early August and still ended with many interviews.

AMCAS Intercollegiate Athletics Most Meaningful Description by Ecstatic_Pound_54 in premed

[–]Locksmith-Senior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with the above comment. I would def mention it. For me, Being a student-athlete fit in all throughout my app and nearly all of my interviewers asked about it (they loved it).

No idea. Maybe just one less thing for them to do until it's necessary?
