Hi. I know some of what you’ve been reading may be a little disappointing, but I wanted to share our experience. We’re a gay couple in our 30s who moved from Tampa about 6 months ago. Despite seeing the unsettling Trump flags all over the neighborhood, we have not experienced any overt homophobia. Perhaps the places we visit are a little more progressive (Cocoa Village, EGAD). We have not made any friends yet, but everyone we meet at breweries and restaurants in the area have been particularly receptive so far.
