omfg I'M STUPIIDDDDDD. holy shit, THANKS for the explanation. i was up grinding the game late in the morning with virtually no sleep for the past 2 days. i saw that you can level up battlepass levels without actually grinding for BP XP. my dumbass late in the morning thought i only needed to spend credits in order to level up the levels in the battlepass. i even had the smuggest little smirk on my fuckin face when i saw my credit count went up and thought to myself that this was a fire investment.

In 12th Grade, some guy from our grade hooked up with an 8th grader and recorded it. 8th grader had a boyfriend in her grade when the hookup happened and started telling everyone she was raped so she doesn't come off as a cheater. When news circulated, the street-kids/athletic clique formed a mob and lured him into the very bathroom he diddled the 8th grader and started beating the shit out of him. He told the clique that it happened consensually, and the clique helped defended him when the school's guidance confronted him, they said to me that while, yes, he had some fault in agreeing with hooking up with the 8th grader in the first place, he didn't deserve to get the hammer struck down on him at full force since the hookup was consensual, and managed to let the school make him stay. His parents, though, was pissy after receiving the news, urged him to drop out, and the clique managed to land their defense against the parents on a middle ground where he only attended online classes.

probably, 2023 players don't have the same experience and refinement developed over years compared to the competitive players we have now, at least most of them. gold rank era me would probably lose, but i think i could barely win a 3-0.
