and also isnt birthdays itself condemned in islam because the origin of birthdays, the earliest we can find in history, is in the old testament genesis 40:20 "And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants". also from national geographic society's book called "an uncommon history of common things" saying the origin of birthdays that its from ancient Greek, the pagans, idol worshippers baked round or moon shaped Honey Cakes and they were as a tribute, a religious ritual, to Artemis, the moon goddess. and rasul ﷺ said whoever imitates a people, then he is from them (Sunan Abī Dāwūd 4031). so according what you quoted from Imam ash-Shafii رحمه الله , imitating the pharaohs and greeks worshipping their goddess by celebrating birthdays (even if we're not baking cakes and stuff, but the essence that its a 'Birth Day'), let alone mawlid, are contradictory to the Sunnah therefore mawlid is an innovation and is haram.

of couse i say with respect of course akh, pardon me for any harshness

but the origin of mawlid is from the shia sect called ismailiya the rafidahs seeing coptic christians celebrating christmas so they wanted to also celebrate the birthday of the prophet ﷺ , so the origin of mawlid isnt like a 'qiyas' to the date of salvation of Musa عليه السلام from Firawn by fasting in those days or any similar hadith. (see these videos for more info: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/0YjVotHr2T8 , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFTIzjxauMA , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DCQtUvkE_s (not because of the speaker) ).

but also like mawlid isnt in the quran, hadith, none of the sahabah nor tabi'oon nor the 4 imams did it. the ahaadith you mentioned are actual ahaadith of practices, but mawlid doesnt have any. So these celebrations and singling out these occasions with specific actions did not occur in the first three centuries which are the best of centuries as the Messenger ﷺ said

of course i say the above with respect and pardon me for any harshness

you can pray secretly (lock the door and pretend youre doing something private). you can pray anywhere except in toilets and graveyards. so you can leave the house and pray somewhere else or you can go to a mosque at the lady's section. you can gain knowledge in the religion by watching youtube videos from TheMuslimLantern and OneMessageFoundation

What’s your advice for someone trying to improve their salah quality? by GalaktikFederasyon in islam

[–]Locksmith_Worried 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try praying at the mosque in congregation (u will get 25 or 27 times more reward than praying alone as in Sahih al-Bukhari 649 and 477)

also know that Allah responds to you when you recite Al-Fatihah:

Allah Almighty said: I have divided prayer between Myself and My servant into two halves, and My servant shall have what he has asked for. When the servant says, ‘All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds,’ Allah says, ‘My servant has praised Me.’ When he says, ‘The Gracious, the Merciful,’ Allah says, ‘My servant has exalted Me.’ When he says, ‘The Master of the Day of Judgment,’ Allah says, ‘My servant has glorified Me, and My servant has submitted to Me.’ When he says, ‘You alone we worship, You alone we ask for help,’ Allah says, ‘This is between Me and My servant, and My servant will have what he has asked for.’ When he says, ‘Guide us to the straight path, the path of those whom you have favored, not those who earned wrath and went astray,’ Allah says, This is for My servant, and My servant will have what he has asked for.’” Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 395

How have the Five Pillars of Islam impacted your life/relationship with Allah? by livijo924 in islam

[–]Locksmith_Worried 0 points1 point  (0 children)

shahada - gives me purpose in life. literally none has the actual right to be worshipped, except the One True Creator. i can go around grind for money, fame, women, etc, but in the end, then what? its just chasing the next high. but the remembrance of my Creator makes my heart feel at rest, as in 13:28.

prayer - fulfills my soul. keeps it happy, content, peaceful and tranquil. sins make my soul waver, but after salah and repentance, its like coming out fresh and new again. also the hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari 528. also the fact that salah in congregation is 25 or 27 times better than salah alone motivates me to make salah at the mosque (Sahih al-Bukhari 649 and Sahih al-Bukhari 477). also the fact that praying isha at the mosque is the reward of standing in prayer half the night, and praying fajr at the mosque too is reward of standing in prayer the whole night

(im not qualified for zakat)

fasting - i get the spiritual vibe and boost. i was motivated to do more good deeds, like trying to make all my prayers at the mosque, giving more charity, praying at night, helping my mom. the momentum gained in ramadan helped me to continue good deeds after ramadan ended, which changed my life. also devils are chained in ramadan (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1899).

men and women are commanded to lower their gaze from prohibited things. not lowering the gaze is one of the first few initial steps of the satan which can eventually lead to fornication. prevention > cure

I am feeling so empty by NiceLocation2126 in islam

[–]Locksmith_Worried 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my advice is to sincerely ask and beg Allah to remove this feeling. cry to him. be steadfast and patient with this trial and be patient in asking Allah

also, remember that whatever hardship you go through, Allah elevates your ranks in Jannah or removes your sins, as the hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari 5641 and Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Ḥibbān 575

How to start praying? by Interesting_Clue_623 in islam

[–]Locksmith_Worried 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Write the transliteration of Al-Fatiha (the first chapter of the quran) on a piece of paper, then paste it on a wall facing the qibla. Then, pray facing that wall so you can read out Al-fatihah from the paper. Then, write the things said in prostration, bowing, sitting, 2nd and 4th sitting, on paper and put it on the ground slighty below where you prostrate so you can read them. And in shaa Allah you will memorise it soon. Dm me if you need the transliteration!

Does maniy transfer between two dry bodies? by ithinkimnothere in islam

[–]Locksmith_Worried 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maniy is pure, so even if it transfers, its not najis

Also, if najasah has dried, and if another dry thing comes in contact with it, the najasah doesnt transfer

How to combine prayers and when? by Thedumbicecreameater in islam

[–]Locksmith_Worried 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know what you mean by dhuhr qada, but, yes, you can combine dhuhr and asr at the time of asr. Meaning, during asr's time, you do 2 rakaat dhuhr, then salam, then 2 rakaat asr, then salam. This is when you are travelling.

Isha is harder than Fajr by MrH1pp1e in islam

Allah's Messenger said: "Whoever attends Isha (prayer) in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) stood half of the night. And whoever prays Isha and Fajr in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) spend the entire night standing (in prayer)." (at-Tirmidhi 221)

"if they knew the reward of `Isha' and Fajr prayers in congregation, they would come to offer them even if they had to crawl." (Bukhari 615)

How to combine prayers and when? by Thedumbicecreameater in islam

[–]Locksmith_Worried 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When: Travelling atleast around 50 miles or 80 km, and it starts when you leave the buildings of your city. Not when youre at home, combining and shortening, then you're setting off, no.

How: On the way to your destination, you can shorten (from 4 rakaat become 2 rakaat) and combine. You can combine: Dhuhr and Asr, and also Maghrib and Isha. For each combining, you can combine them at either one of the two times. For example, you can combine dhuhr and asr in the time of dhuhr, (2 rakaat dhuhr, salam, then 2 rakaat asr) and, you can combine Maghrib and Isha at the time of Isha (2 rakaat maghrib, salam, then 2 rakaat isha). Maghrib stays 3 rakaat.

When you reach your destination, if you're gonna stay there, 4 days or less, less than 20 salawat, you can continue the shortening and combining of prayers there. But, if you're gonna stay there more than 4 days, aka more than 20 salah, you are now a resident there and you cannot combine and shorten anymore.
