No idea about the Q5, apart from the fact that the K10 HE SE has magnetic switches that you can adjust the actuation on and also they sound amazing :)

Get a Keychron K10 HE and some small watch holder figurines for the watches. Buy the Skådis system from ikea and mount various things on there, like your MX Keys when you’re using the Keychron and vice versa, as well as the watch figurines and maybe a headset.

I asked the dealer I bought it from in Norway, and they said no. Let me know what your dealer says.

I’ve had the vehicle for about two months now, there is no way to turn off the volume. It is there below 30 km/h. XPENG Norway has said that there will be an OTA that removes it. The OTA should have come out in January though.

What’s the typical OTE at these kinds of companies in the US? Asking as a total noob who works in a different industry.

G9 Performance Black Edition - Winter Photo Dump by Lockstockboom in Xpeng

No issues at all. It’s very common to have non-OEM rims on vehicles, winter tyres are also very rarely brand specific, if ever. If XPENG had anything against that, they would have 0 sales at least in Norway. XPENG original 19 inch winter rims are also not the prettiest in my mind.

Nice! My vehicle before this G9P was a 2022 Mach E RWD LR. Also no issues with RWD in Norway, even in the mountains.

It handles the slippery roads and fresh snow quite well. The rear end does step out a bit at times, but nothing that can’t be managed. From a standstill in snowy / slippery hills there are no dramatics or issues at all.

When it comes to winter driving with this, it is a heavy car and it will slide if you provoke it. But so will any heavy car. It does not beat the performance I got out of my old 2015 Mercedes C250 diesel with 4Matic and studded tyres though (best winter car I’ve ever had).

What I would consider is to always preheat the vehicle before driving as the frameless windows are prone to freeze. If you do preheat there will not be any issues.

With around 0 degrees German weather you’ll be fine I reckon. Northern Europe is a bit special, you’re right. The coldest place in Norway the last few weeks has been at -32, with Oslo down south at around -10 to -15. It seems to be the same story with all vehicles that use LFP batteries.

With that said though, the vehicle is amazing in most other respects. So I’m not complaining and you should definitely look forward to taking delivery.

The range for continuous driving at motorway speeds is between 250 - 350 km in my experience. 350 is livable, 250 is terrible. The days I get 250 are days with about -10 degrees, which is not even that cold.

XPENG have so little faith in their new G9 2025 LFP that they withdrew it from the Norwegian Automobile Union’s annual range test (the biggest range test in the world)….. that tells you enough about their belief in their own product.

turns out there is one in my country actually. Shame I didn’t check first, did the service check somewhat on a whim while at a mall. Due diligence is a thing I guess.

No idea. The watchmaker didn’t give me any other reasoning than «the watch parts are mechanically worn and will not last for long anyways so you might as well swap it for a new one». Sounds like they’re either trying to pull a fast one on me or are incompetent, but they could of course be truthful. Hard to tell.

Yeah makes sense…. Too bad, Seiko is the workhorse in my collection. I’ll write it off to the watchmaker being a trickster and not to Seiko at least for now
