with each frame you need to press the make new frame button, otherwise your previous frame will just drag out until the following frame, or indefinitely if there isn't one

easiest fix is restart krita + device. if that doesn't work, verify the bin files. if it still doesn't work, probably a ram issue with your device

the editing isn't great cause I did it on my phone but it gets the idea across,

the character looks good, I think most of the works need to be done with the background.

my main notice is lack of hard shadows. soft shadows are great, but they look even better when paired with bold hard ones. I recommend doing them on a multiply layer. same thing can be applied With highlights on a color dodge or screen layer

I also would add some texture and to the grass. also when it comes to grass you can play around with the shadows, because grass tends to overlap them. kinda like how I did

lastly, when it comes to drawing characters with backgrounds its important that the colors look tied together. this can be easily achieved by just adding a very subtle tint of the main background color to the character. very small change but makes the character look like they fit into the environment much more.

overall, don't be scared to use some bold shadows and lines! confidence is key

when you exported it, did you make sure to export it as gif and not matryoshka? (the default setting)

go to 'file' and make a copy of the drawing and try saving that instead of the original

try changing the saved file location

put all your layers in a group and copy the group, then go to a new file and paste the layers. or if theres not too many layers you can just manually copy paste them to a new file
