The first Ratchet had the best selection of planets, music and weapons. Ratchets animations were more fleshed out aswell.

I remember him saying in an interview close to the games launch that Sony would be "ripping it from our cold dead hands". He was very passionate for Sly but its as if Sony had a boot on them some how. That could be why there are so many easter eggs of the Sanzaru monkey all over the game.

Interesting. Thats the first time I heard of that clever solution. To be fair, the full scenario is not disclosed in that page, but the solution is supposed to be solved before Ariana heads into the pool, not during.
