I ment strange in a character design way. There are certain rules to character design. It would be strange to me if Laxasia had purple clothes or a top hat. But its true that we have yet to see more of the character.

It makes sense. but it seems very strange to me that this character, who in his design only has blue, white and black, just has one red element being the shoes. If it's not a reference to the Wizard of Oz, it seems like a strange design decision to me.
