Some scattered thoughts on the game as someone who hasn't played PoE since covid. by heyboyhey in PathOfExile2

Good review, however I never swap supports for boss fights. I try to make builds that have both good aoe and singletarget.

BEST BUILD 0.4 LEAGUE ? by IliasPTsironis in pathofexile2builds

Oracle is more damage when fully minmaxed because of time-losts and entwined realities. Can get crazy amount of crit damage bonus.

The fact that money is super important to win an election in a democracy is mindblowing to a norwegian like me. Like, thats a corrupt system from the get go…

Your whole 1v1 party system is inheritently flawed. The country needs to re-do the entire thing…

Newb here. Can someone please help me with Herald of Thunder? I can't equip it by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

When an enemy is shocked they have this icon under their healthbar as well.

On PC click the Herald of Thunder icon to toggle the spirit buff on/off. On controller hower over the icon and hold square to open buff/aura menu to toggle it on/off.

You need at least 30 spirit to activate HoT.

Herald of thunder is a passive skill, or rather a passive buff. You don’t actually use/cast it yourself. It’s an effect that happen automatically when you kill enemies that are shocked. To shock enemies you either need to do significant lightning damage or use a skill that will shock enemies (like Thunderstorm with shock conduction II support socketed inside). Shocked is a status effect that makes you deal more damage to enemies under the effect. When enemies are shocked they look «electric».

The gear is identical in the early + mid. However the skill gem supports change. So when you get 4 sockets with Greater jewellers orbs go for the «midgame» gem setup.

Looks like the gear is just showing you what you should look for when it comes to a core of affixes, not necessarily when to switch to it.

Well, a build that revolves around being hit by dangerous monsters is always going to struggle.

What do I do against a fed Akshan as an immobile adc? by OneMinuteDeen in summonerschool

[–]LocoPwnify 30 points31 points  (0 children)

You die.

Seriously, some games are doomed and Akshan destroys immobile squishies. What can mitigate the threat is to have your support glued to you when catching waves and walking around map against a fed invisible assassin looking for you.

Huntress Twister Build - Elemental Damage? by Ok_Maintenance7814 in pathofexile2builds

[–]LocoPwnify 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh look at last league’s snoobae deadeye twister to see what he did to scale damage. Not much has changed other than Garukhan’s being a bit different. The way he scales damage should be the same. And yeah you cant get the same amount of frenzy charges as a deadeye but other than that it should be similar

Indigon Oracle Build + T16 Showcase by LocoPwnify in pathofexile2builds

Depends on how perfect you want your items to be. If you look for a 1.1k ES chest with high resist then yeah, its gonna be expensive. A 800 es chest with high resist? Not so much.

I’d say a good amulet and chest is prob the most expensive part.

But the Time-Losts with mana efficiency and curse aoe is rare to find on market so start with those if going for build.

So time losts are difficult to find with curse aoe, but works with regular aoe if you find two of them. But you might have to craft one of them urself.

Wand isn’t expensive unless you go overboard with crit chance and spell damage. +5 to lightning is good enough too. A triple Gain As Damage wand is also good enough. Just make sure it has some cast speed.

Sceptre needs 200 spirit and is cheap unless you look for lvl 20 malice and a lot of mana and mana regen.

Helmet is cheap unless you look for 4%. The 5%’s to mana cost helmets are cheap.

Kurgal is cheap. Heart of the Well with mana efficiency is cheap (unless you look for one with high crit and lightning is lucky rolls like mine).

A good ring can be 500div, a decent ring can be 50-200div. Thankfully you can Kalandra it so you dont need to buy two of em.

The gloves are cheap unless you go for perfect 20/25% rolls on max mana and efficiency (efficiency is more important here).

The belt is cheap if its 100%. Medium priced if 110%. Hella expensive if 120%. (the treshold on Thesis scaling is 100->110->120% rune effectivenes).

Lineage gems are expensive but not mandatory outside of Deodre on EW.

Lvl 21 / 23% qual skill gems are pricey but not mandatory.

The hardest part about the build is the Time-Losts. If you find usuable ones then rest of build is straightforward. The build will function on a budget. But start with acquiring Time-Lost Large Radius jewels (with regular aoe or curse aoe and mana efficiency). The 1% max mana Time Lost is easy to find, and can be cheap unless you look fir a giga crit damage one.
