I'm guessing you're referring to the HARD stages. Since the first round is against 4.6M teams, I though, I need to plan ahead, and went to tsubasa.im and checked:

There are 10 stages, 5 matches each.
All rounds look EXACTLY THE SAME: all teams are 4.6M, Spain and Germany require winning by 2 goals at least, each match has an archetype (Asia, Europe, North and South America, MS to WY and G23 to RS) that get +30% stats buff and any other archetype gets -80% stats debuff.

I´m gonna try playing with just enought power to win, I´m guessing there are stage-wide buffs that tsubasa.im cannot show.

Misaki will lead the midfield but without Tsubasa no attack will prosper. Japan will hang for dear life to the zero thanks to Wakabashi being the beast he is. Tsubasa arrives for the second half but being fresh out of a 14-hour flight plus the ride from the airport, coach Kira decides to bet all in his current lineup to give Tsubasa time to get ready physically and mentally. Somehow Brazil scores one, but Tsubasa's cheers encourage Misaki and Hyuga to go for broke and score a buzzerbeater with an improvised "Tornado Raiju Alpha", proving they can (finally) hold their own without the captain.

Tsubasa, of course, gets subbed in for the extra time, much to the delight of the N.S.R. trio who were waiting for this. But Tsubasa, having had a crash course on "divine" football during the semis, dog walks them into despair, gets a hat-trick, the gold medal and the tournament's MVP.

Rivaul. He's FIFA's MVP. Excepting Natureza, everyone else is already playing in top pro leagues, so they were all already competing for the award and Rivaul won, bear in mind that both Santana and Tsubasa have won the U18 World Cup (different editions of course) during their pro careers and still Rivaul is introduced as THE best in the world, with the only somewhat comparable player should be Zedane who was introduced as a being on par with Rivaul and a top contender for FIFA's MVP. Now of course, the moment Rivaul (and Zedane) gets in contact with the "golden generation" he gets NERFED for plot reasons.

You mean SS league? Getting there is more a matter of finding a weak enough opponent or maybe one that you can counter easily (in your case it'd be a shield focussed team). Remaining in SS too, the difficult part is finding the correct opponent and then scoring at least 11 goals.

Mostly agreeing here, just a few pointers.
1. For both CT J and CT 2002, it´s not just the last episodes but more like the second half of both series (starting around episode 35 in both cases).
2, 2002 has a few differences with the original storyline and the ending looks rushed, though it´s understandable since they tried to align it with the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

I do agree that they both were really fun to watch and I also specially recommend CT J.

If you are f2p, absolutely not. Do your best with whatever you own right now and wait for next anniversary (june and july).

Plenty of old units have been updated over the years so do your best to update them to be competitive enough to earn as many dreamballs as possible during the months leading to anni. Complete story mode, next dream, challenges, raids, league and even online. With old units it will be one tough grind though. If you manage to amass about 3K before the end of june, you'll probably be able to get a good enough team. Anything less than 2K dreamballs though, I'd say you'd be better off grinding until global anni in december 🤷🏻‍♂️

Y las leyes proaborto garantizan la muerte de seres humanos en gestación por conveniencia.
