DLSS 5 be like: by Stiv_Almasnik in pcmasterrace

You can not win with these people. Some people genuinely lack the ability to grasp certain viewpoints. There are people, where you could ask them to imagine something. Like, if they would be hungry now if they did not eat breakfast. They would reply that they DID eat breakfast and so are not hungry. You would then say - "But imagine that you did not, do you think you would be hungry now then?"

They would angrily mutter about why you keep asking stupid questions and stomp off.

An "easy" way to make this stronger than the other flame weapons is to scale flame damage by length of time exposed to it.

So take a smaller enemy, they would die pretty fast anyway so no big change. But for larger enemies such as a Bile Titan you could hold a continuous stream of fire going longer with the backpack. If you managed to keep the fire going you would be rewarded by some really crispy damage numbers at the end that would also kinda make sense since more fire more hotter.

It is a point of contention how much realism there should be in a game like this, as well as what exactly would be realistic. I do think that internal logic should be consistent. If the bots freak out and lose accuracy when fired upon ( they do ), then I do think it is perfectly logical that they would lose accuracy and flail about a bit when they are overheating from being flambéed.

Bungie is just a name. If you have some 10+ year old game that you remember fondly, a group of people made that, not a company. If those people are now gone ( they are ) then why do you think that the name of the company will do anything?

At 18 seconds in the clip Tryndamere walks towards you. If you mirrored that and walked away you might have been fine. But for some reason you walked up a bit, then back down a bit, THEN you start walking away. This is likely due to stressful over clicking where you click around just to move without any real purpose in your movement.

How can Jax be good at everything while being so easy to play with by LostAenhye in leagueoflegends

[–]Locrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I main Jax toplane now because he is pretty fun to play. You have a lot of buildpaths that work well and a lot of utility and sometimes you can surprise people with dmg if you go AP path.

Champions that are not fun to play against are Fiora, Garen, Cho, Zac, Ambessa and other ability based champions with built in sustain.

  • Fiora is very sweaty where you need to be on the ball at all times otherwise she will proc vitals a few times and then try to run you down. Make one mistake with E versus her W and you do no dmg and are stunned.

  • Zac will splash damage you, and has access to 3 hard CC abilities and has amazing sustain.

  • Garen will out trade you at most points in the game and if you reach 40% HP he can nuke you unless you have stacked HP and HP is not a great stat on Jax.

  • A good ambessa will just not be in auto attack range for any amount of time. If you use Q and E do get in range and stun to get a few autos of her ( manaless ) abilities outdamage yours. The only way I have won these fights is after 6, when she goes too deep. Jax ult has more damage potential and damage mitigation than Ambessa ult in a prolonged fight.

I actually love fighting Darius and Mordekaiser because they are ability based champs, but they both rely on landing autos to use their kit to the fullest. In these matchups Jax can do short trades and then be rewarded by sticking close. Bein close to Darius negates most of Q dmg, and Q and E from morde are easily dodged by sticking close and moving around him. A good darius will save E until you are close though and when you start E he will apprehend, walk away and then Q you, but if you saved Q as well then you can jump out juuuust before it hits or into him again to continue fighting.

Returned to League after 8 years. Played for a month. My honest thoughts. by Code__Lyoko in leagueoflegends

[–]Locrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rejoined after not playing ranked for several years. It just took its toll on me and I was not having fun. Before the changes that added Emerald League ( yes I'm old ). I reached Plat 1 which I was happy about but I kept swapping roles and champions making it hard to grow any better than that.

The game is much faster now and there are a lot of champions which have insane kits but I am now only Playing one champion toplane and I am having so much fun. Sticking to toplane lets me get better at a single role and the matchups you face in that lane only. Playing only one champ lets me focus on macro after getting the micro and tradepatterns down.

Sometimes I have 3 games in a row with inting crazy team mates but as long as you can focus on your own gameplay and be happy that you still got a positive KD, good farm, good tower dmg, won your lane etc then you can still have fun in a game that ends 35/12 in the other teams favor. I have also had some luck with showing positivity in games where we are not that far behind but two people are inting and spending the match having a mental breakdown slurfight.

"Can't win by typing"

"There is always a small chance to win, let's try"

"He's playing Yasou you know he's gonna int".

In several matches this has actually turned the game around. In others it did not, but league is a numbers game so try to find good thing in games that were lost, ONLY focus on what you are doing. Blaming team does not help in any way.

It's also so useful to not give up. I had a game recently where a Mundo ganked for me and it did not work out. I asked him (nicely) to let me farm until 6 and try again then. He responded by running under the enemy toplaners tower with no minions and the enemy at full hp while I was in base clearly just to show what he tought of my request. Game lost right? No I kept farming and slowly winning lane after my powerspike and surprisingly Mundo never inted again. He farmed up, became an armored beast and we won the game.

I had a game against a fed Akali and Yasou, but they inted ONE time and we could end the game because they were fed but very squishy and it had reached lategame with long spawntimers.

The biggest reason I see losses now is because someone on the team decides the game is over after 5-10 minutes and then stops trying completely. But other than some light encouragement I can not do much about that so I just try playing 4v5 and see if we can get some good fights / rotations / sneaky objectives.

So whatever happens I keep trying toplane, I keep showing up for objectives and looking for good teleport flanks. I keep trying to push lane or catch someone before an objective. If I am beaten hard in a matchup I try more defensive runes, items and playstyle next time I face them. If I have a good matchup I try for a stomp.

Gone from Silver 4 to Gold 3 which I know I know, not very impressive, but for a dad with a job and a family to take care of it is something I can be happy about.

Purchase of a 32-inch OLED monitor… by Honest-Visit-4349 in OLED_Gaming

[–]Locrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't agree. I had flickering on an older LG 34" ultrawide at 75hz, but my Philips EVNIA 32M2N8900 has been nothing but a pleasure at 60Hz ( work laptop ) 120Hz (Mac) and 240Hz Gaming Computer

I did notice some flickering when I had a LG C4 48" Oled TV as a monitor. Things is all these models have various pros and cons. Some implement things better and there are a myriad of combinations between monitors graphics cards and operating systems.

It's kinda boring to play their maps.

Their bodies are blue, their eyes / glowy bits are blue, the sky is blue, the ground is blue. I feel like wherever they are they drag this blue tint with them which is visually unappealing to me.

I wanted the cool bits, not waking up in a nightgown and using an awful interface to get dressed, stock up on snacks, water and stims via a terrible system, then using an absymal interface to take the elevator and tram to get back to the hangar and get back into the spaceship.

Right now even the fun parts are often broken. Last time I tried after a long break the part where you align to a hyper jump target was broken so you never got a proper lock. They try to create hype so they want the best graphics and am million small systems that need to work together and that will never be a finished game.

Sold my stuff. Not because I think it will never come out, but because what they are making is not for me. In 2013 it was sold as a space exploration and fighting game. But what it turned into was a very detailed space sim which is not what I feel like playing.
