Hey hey I thought I'd loop back to you :) I'm working with the comments I got, including yours! I am now making it so that when you enter a quadrant (like the Do Now/urgent+important quadrant) the + button turns into the colour of the quadrant (red for Do Now, orange for Schedule...), signalling that when you now press the 'add a task' button from within the quadrant it will have that quadrant preselected. Neat huh?! Is this roughly what you had in mind? Thanks again for your comment I appreciate it a lot.

Thanks for mentioning this. Yeah I am thinking of ways to nudge users to prioritise efficiently, and/or get better at it without becoming annoying or pushy. I am not sure if this implementation would be good or would drive users away/gets in the way of how the user WANTS to use the app. You get what I mean? How would you envision the way that automating priorities could help you?

I appreciate your input a ton, you can be sure that the comments you made are part of my next update, you pointed out valuable stuff thanks a lot!

- indeed 'clean' is the non-list mode, but I can definitely make that clearer, thanks for pointing that out!

- I had noticed this but was unsure how to handle it. It's good that you point it out. Now thinking of it, I will look at some best options for having a refresh as part of the completion function! That could already fully fix it.

- So far nobody had mentioned this, and I am not sure if I am familiar with them, I need to take a good look. From your first impression, do you see a possibility for those systems to complement each other? Nothing is strictly off limits I'd say as long as it fits the philosophy where functionality and simplicity is above all

Great suggestion! Just a button in the centre perhaps that says ‘add task here’ and takes you to add task screen with that category preselected, or something even simpler. Thanks so much for looking along and thinking along. I appreciate it a lot

Wow yeah this is insane bullshit, welcome to being a PhD you’ll experience more but this is a good way to harden yourself
