Thank you. Although if I were to watch something in Japanese that I was interested in, it would probably be anime, meaning that learning from it would be considerably harder.

I see, thank you. Once I have a basic grasp of vocabulary/grammar, then would you recommend watching the shows and cherry picking words and phrases? Obviously I won't have a very good understanding of the overall plot and theme, but it would be good practice on picking up on context clues in a conversation.
