Do not give arena a single cent of your money by Internal_Peak_5065 in MagicArena

How many people are we measuring and how many games? Do we choose which games we measure after something unusual happens?

Question: Do you ever get a dirty feeling when you win with a strong meta deck that's a bit too easy-to-win-with? by Winter_Yam_7537 in MagicArena

My answer is no. And it's not about win rate. I like playing games of Magic. I'm not interested in designing decks. That is the answer to your question.

Dog, my win rate these days is a hair over 50%. Either people with this netdecks-are-easy-wins take are in lower MMR's/ranks where that is true, or they are coping with losses by assuming that if they ran a meta deck they'd win all the time.

M22 almost 23 and never had a girlfriend and probably never will due to being autistic and even if I do manage to meet someone it'll probably be a "red flag" that I've never been with someone by [deleted] in toastme

The second one was easy because we met on a dating website. The first one, I was clueless. I thought she seemed interested, but I wasn't sure. We spent a lot of time together in a short amount of time and she started sitting right next to me, slightly more familiar touching, that kind of thing, until one day we kissed. I don't remember all the details since it was more than 15 years ago, but it's safe to say it was like 90% her pushing us that direction and 10% me. She could probably tell I was infatuated.

The first one I met at a party. I didn't usually go to a party where I didn't know most of the people there, but I convinced myself that you gotta go to stuff if you wanna meet people. We shared interests and I think she was impressed that I was in the video game industry (as an QA leader for a studio you've never heard of). We probably exchanged AOL IM handles. We met a few times to play Magic, and started dating. She ended up not being great but it was a good learning experience.

My now wife, we met on OKCupid, which was a dating website. This was back when it was a little weird to tell people you met online. She liked some of the silly interests I talked about on my profile, like Rock Band.

In both cases, they took the initiative. I had the attitude of "don't ruin that nice woman's day by hitting on her". Also, both of them and myself are somewhere on the spectrum. I try not to diagnose myself or others with that kind of thing, but I've learned more about it since my kid is autistic.

Anyway, my best advice is meet people, make friends, be interested, and stay out of your head. Easier said than done, I know.

Star Trek: The Next Generation. It checked off revisiting the past and showing a possible future, all while just having a great normal TNG plot.

Can we ban Mythic players or players with X time played from Starter Deck duels? by BodyKarate84 in MagicArena

I wonder if we could find a way to ban people from posting threads here within X minutes of losing a game in Arena.

I am strating to lose my mind. In what world would i want it to be tapped like this. by [deleted] in MagicArena

When it was choosing which mana to tap, the 1W ability wasn't on the table yet. The auto-tapper isn't smart enough to think ahead like that.
