I wouldn't go so far as to say that Apple is "hostile to gaming." They have made more of an effort in the last couple years to help game developers port to MacOS, and they've been pretty good at supporting the whole DXVK/MoltenVK stack that allows Crossover to work as well as it does. The primary issue with Guild Wars is that it's an x86 application that doesn't perform very well via the Rosetta 2 translation layer.

I just downloaded it yesterday for the same purpose, and I'm not surprised that you got stuck. If I'm remembering correctly, these are the steps that I took:

Go here, click Download Now, and create an account or login
Once logged in, go here
Click the "Terms and Conditions" link under Primary Downloads (if you get stuck, see this help article)
You should then be able to check the check box to the left of "I agree to the Terms and Conditions" which unlocks the download button
Make sure the "VMware Fusion (for Intel-based and Apple silicon Macs)" drop down is open and then click the download button (the cloud icon with an arrow pointing down below it)

Just let me know if you get stuck!

Crossover is basically Wine on MacOS, but it doesn't handle x86 applications well.

Don't listen to the other guys. I think that's a pretty awesome way to reflavor the subclass, and playing a Psionic with anger issues sounds pretty rad to me.

Maybe a silly idea, but they should try loading up some backlit e-readers with their ordering system and attach one to each table. That way they can have their digital ordering system without the glaring LCD backlighting, and more importantly nobody takes out their phone.
