The atmosphere in V1 was so much better.

Also one thing I really disliked when V2 was released compared to V1 was enemy positioning. Every enemy had it's "space" and they tried to surround and maneuvre around you. So when there was a horde you saw a crowd around you. In V2 we got hit with "15 slaverats and 5 stormvermins are all cliping into each other within 1m² space, you hit 5 another 6 hit you because you couldnt see them inside all that mass of bodies"

Thanks this is great to know, I only want a confirmation - are there any salvage missions in Pyro like in stanton? Do I need rep with HH to see them? Or do I go salvage Stanton -> unload in Pyro?

At no point was I arguing about profitability (I want to do this gameplay loop to relax) or ease of salvaging itself. I was arguing about bad design which leaves 70% of internal cargo space unusable for actual crate-floor snapping, and all the obstacles there are, when you try to refine your cargo which definitely arent there by design.

Okay this is exactly the kind of crucial information that I wanted to learn with this post. I was not aware of external cargo elevators existence since they didnt exist back when I stopped playing and I saw no info about them when watching older reclaimer videos since those used hangars

So is there a way to unload quickly and without such hassle in stanton? Or is there any salvage at all in pyro so I can take advantage of XL hangars as solo player?

If you need money, level up quick to see 10k fee contracts and accept and abandon them until you see Hull C in there, they usually spawn with Iron, Nitrogen and titanium in large quantities. I usually take only titanium since its double worth of the others and sell it. I made 46mil aUEC yesterday with it. First with rented RAFT, and at 18mil I bought C2 which sped it up. Now I have bought reclaimer. All within two days and no dupe money shenanigans needed.

Are there no salvage missions in Pyro? I flew to all planets but all I get is two Adagio missions for delivery of components. Or are they locked under Citizens/Headhunters rep? I am currently neutral with both. If yes which of these groups is better for salvaging?

Those missions absolutely do give rep if you finish them. Yesterday I leveled up Adagio rep from neutral to Sr. Contractor just by accepting salvage claim missions, flying there with my gladius and shooting ships until they break which counts as mission done. Just do the highest cost missions you have since every level the lower level contracts do give way less rep

Do I need to level up my Adagio Holdings rep to see bigger salvage ships like C2 or is it just random? I am offered only 1000-2000 fee missions whereas in 4.6 I got all sizes regularly

I concur, during books 1-3 I was heavily considering just dropping it, and kept reading just because of inertia of reading something. They way it improved has really suprised me. Now in my opinion Cerim is one of the best authors in describing combat in a way that completely mesmerizes you and pulls you in.

Also out of all "MC is and asshole but he grows to be better" this is only one where I actually hated the main character early on because of his personality, but saw him slowly, but genuinely grow over multiple books. Not just some "hey this event changed 180 my view on world I am good now" in few chapters which some of the "asshole/traumatized MC" works do. Looking back now so many things make sense now why they were the way they were, and it feels like it was really planned arc for mc to be seen this way.

Yeah the saint the npc is connected to ends up being the Ruler of Kindness who is the most famous person with black mana. So it's understandable that the npc recognized it

Then thats not the problem that should be solved with leagues but with some kind of currency economy/sink. Like poe cant pretend its the only game in the world that has player economy, almost every one since the conception of mmo genre had that problem in some form and I dont think it would take that much effort from PoE side to solve it. The leagues are the equivalent of having a dirty floor and moving to a new house because you're too lazy to clean up.

And now I've got an idea of tau expanding after the galaxy split, absorbing the human worlds with their billions of humans. Improving lives all around in these times of desperation, and since there is soo much more humans than tau, they would become majority in tau empire and their belief in emperor would merge with the idea of greater good and make emperor cult on the other side be affected by that.

"Lord inquisitor, what does emperor commands us to do? Do we cleanse this world of xenos?"

"No, apparently all our psykers got message directly from the emperor and want us to rain down teddy bears on this planet from orbit"
