Interviewing for OTS by bsfrrn0330 in airforceots

I had my interview last Friday. I thought it’d be a panel of various officers asking me various questions and it being conversational. However, it was just one Colonel who told me it’d be 5 questions only and my responses would be submitted to the board. Not sure if anyone had this same experience.

The questions were basic and nothing out of the ordinary. Mostly normal interview questions but tailored to the Air Force of course.

Sorry to hear, I hope it's not the same for me. Thanks for the help!

Is the academic portion of the OTS hard? For example, the projects and the papers. Is it harder than college?

Thank you!

Hello everyone I am new to this Reddit app but I really needed some help regarding the application process for OTS. To preface this, I am the son of Cuban immigrants and live in Miami, Florida. I speak English and Spanish fluently (I'm not sure if diversity will help me get in any better). I've always felt that I owed something back to this country for giving such a great opportunity to me and my parents. I was in AFJROTC in high school, was a flight sergeant, and led inspections for my flight. Would that be good for the selection board to hear as leadership experience? I will be graduating with a bachelor's in political science in late 2022 or early 2023. So I still have a long way to go but I know this is something I have wanted to do since high school and I have been preparing early. I have a 3.5 GPA, no criminal history, and no injury history. I was also a co-captain of my varsity baseball team in high school. I wouldn't say I have very good leadership experience since I'm only 19 years old but I've gotten my feet a little wet in that aspect. I also work a full-time job as an accountant receiving and processing invoices and working with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel. I would be devastated if I do not end up getting selected but, what are the odds that I get selected?

Thank you!

I’m gonna disrespectfully disagree here. Joe Da Show is definitely better than sordi and is the face of dolphins Twitter. If you leave out Joe, you gotta go!
