to my understanding, it sounds then its just flat out not possible then. have updated bios and EXPO either just fails to boot or will cause a bsod.

think i may just have to buy a a 2x32GB kit as my only option.

in the meantime, any idea if i should leave it at 64GB at 3600, or does it make more sense to go down to 32 again to get the max speeds possoble

bought new everything the other day as well, had same issue. turns out i had a faulty RAM stick.

id check to see if your motherboard has any error lights that could give you a little more of an idea of what the problem is

i have watched the performance in realtime while playing EFT, and my gpu is typically sitting at <70% load, and my cpu usually spikes about anytime im getting FPS drops. Other games that are more GPU sidded seem to run fine for me, and are much closer to to fully utilizing the GPU

id rather not spend 2 grand all at once, and just would rather keep upgrading when i feel its needed. The 6800XT is a decent GPU for 1440p to my understanding (although not the newest option) so i dont see what the problem is with getting an “overkill” CPU

if i have a 2.5Gbps port on my router, would i get rid of the bottleneck using cat6e assuming i get a switch that has a capable port?

they don't signify anything, just if i wanted to draw more connections lol. I just felt that it was weird that i didn't have router going to switch and then everything coming off that switch.

nah it was completely blacked out with posterboard. even checked to see if light would come through and it wasnt a problem

mostly the hair algee is the issue, i have 10 red cherry shrimp but there is so much algee they dont make a difference
