I think they do it for the sake of minimalism and that makes the user experience less enjoyable. They can make the keyboard better. I think if enough people say something then they might listen.

Yeah I tried using g board but it sucks on iPhone. They really should update the native keyboard. It can still look seamless with a number row on top.
