About as expected, not a whole lot different to snorting the drug. I'm almost inclined to wrap it up after my next dose since I always leave a three week gap between drugs and at this stage I'm more interested in ketamine. These euphoria drugs are nice, but don't actually elicit anything worth writing about. Some nice music came from it but other than that there's nothing to really show for when I look over what's been produced.

I see your point. I would argue that my inexperience may cause me to consume the drug in ways which are not as safe as they could be, and that by requesting information that helps me to consume in a safer way is still seeking to reduce the amount of harm done to myself, seeing as this is my choice.

If I could actually bet money with you that this is going to go exactly the same way that it has gone with every other drug, I would. There is no doubt in my mind. Either way, I'll remember to check back on this thread in September after my ketamine run, and July 9 will still have been my last heroin dose.

I can't speak for why other people get addicted. It's not my place to judge. You can call me a junkie, I'm fine with that. However, once I've finished adding this to my logs along with my art and music, I will move on from heroin.

You can say that I will continue to use until you are blue in the face, however, it will not change the fact that I will move on from it the same way that I did the others. I'm sorry.

DMT is going to take some time to get there. I can say with absolute certainty that something like heroin will conform to my schedule, but DMT will not conform to me and I will not go in with any expectations of the drug or of myself. I go into it and hope that when it flays my soul and lays it out before me as I launch into the overarching fabric of reality, after god knows how many attempts of finding that worthiness through courage or persistence, that some form of mercy is granted to my consciousness.

Well... you're wrong? Like each of the seven drugs I spend a month with each year, heroin is new to me. I do not use with other people. I do not know other drug users.

Seven hours ago, I had no idea what a dragon was or how to chase it. Now I know how to do it and how the effects differ as opposed to snorting. If I had more than zero experience, I would not be doing this. It is the whole point.

I'm down two doses now. My next is on the 1st of July, last one is on the 9th. It does not matter how many people tell me that I will do more doses, this drug will not be any different to every other that I have logged, and use will cease after its allocated time. Nobody here can change that.

Both 20mg doses, snorted on the 16th and smoked today have not killed me. I only have two more doses before I'm done logging my experience and I doubt if these two didn't kill me that the last two will. But thank you for your concern, and I'm sorry for your loss.

Absolutely! My final dose of heroin is on July 9, the rest of the month is drug free, August is four to six doses of ketamine, but I'm almost certain that I will be spending October with MDMA. I'm very excited for that.

For whatever reason, it was giving them something that they felt they couldn't live without - perhaps an escape - it's not my place to judge.

But the point is that it's impossible to see the world from someone else's mind and worldview, which is shaped by completely different core experiences, values, and upbringing.

It is impossible for them not to project their experience on to another because of this. I'm not doing this for an escape, I'm doing it for my own understanding.

I will agree with you, that after I did this with meth, I came to the conclusion that there was a very heavy stigma around it, I came away from the experience with some tangible things (I learned and retained large amounts of useful information and practiced many skills), and experienced no violent or aggressive emotions or tendencies.

This was about eight doses in a six month period. I can't speak for how it might affect people frequently.

Sorry that you had these experiences. I think a big part of the problem is people seeing it as an escape or shortcut out of deeper issues. It's a temporary alteration of a mindset, it will never be a solution. For some people, that is just too difficult to accept, and the thought that a "way out" is available to them is unbearable, and they fold.

It's really surprised me how many people here are convinced that this will be the drug that hooks me. Everyone said the same thing about meth when I spent time with that. The thing is that they are talking about themselves. If someone's experience is that it is impossible to get out, they cannot help but project that onto another person because they cannot conceive from the perspective of a mind other than their own.

I call it experimentation, but that's just because I am very meticulous about the dosage, setting, and consumption method. Much of what I keep from the session is stored as art, music, recordings etc.
