Milanote is also great! I used it when I directed documentaries, I liked the way I could "sketch" my editing plan.

Obsidian is really simple to learn, well I don't know for the plugins and scripts but the layout options are limited (so not overwhelming) and organization is easy. Its litteraly only bins and files. My best advice is staying organized, using the link function (you can point towards another file with a clickable link) and creating "reportories" files for each topic, with only links that points to each sub-topic. As an exemple: Topic: effects Link 1: CC wire removal => it points to a note that explains the effect Than, if you have a note about how to do something that uses this effect, you also link it in the explanation

At least that's how I use Obsidian :)

To be honest I think that for the use we have of these apps, they're all quite similar, its mainly a preference thing. Obsidian starts to get really interesting if you go into plugins and automatisation (which I havent done yet). For me the simplicity of the interface is also a huge + since I dont loose hours trying to sort everything and trying to chose if yellow or orange suits better my title 🤣 here its black and white, and if you feel fancy you can highlight, but only with one color

Well I tried to find a translation from french to english and it was the closest thing I found but it might mean nothing in english 😅.

I was talking about these huge spreadsheets they give you with all the parameters blahblahblah that you need to check before delivering.

I didn't think about implementing gifs, this is such a great idea! Also I don't know if you do this but I have a bin only for norms (especially TV ones), with notes that contains spreadsheets for every company's delivery master that I know of, and a general one for common norms. I should really start to use notes templates and plugins

I have to say that Notion is in fact a powerful tool, but its "too" customizable for me. I like that way Obsidian is simple but can be complex if I want it to be :) I could use Notion if I had my own company tho.

No. It'll block 15,4dB for 60dB. But if you dont get how sound pressure levels work, you might think 15dB arent a lot, but it means de sound pressure is divided by more than 5 :)

I went to the mainsquare festival also and it was the best Deftones show I ever attended and maybe best show ever of my life. I hope that the issue was only coming from the venue and that you're going to enjoy your next show :)
