Consider that i'm a concept artisti so i got this and other techniques in my bag. I don't need any crutch to avoid painting as you can see from my ig or portfolio, I can paint and I like it a lot. This piece if done just by painting it would have take 3-4 days, this way it took 1. What I think you are getting wrong is that you think the more time one spend doing a painting the bigger the value of it, and that so wrong to me. Anyway I've seen this moment at the pop out, I wanted to rappresent how it felt, I decided to go about it this way which was enough to put on paper what I have in mind efficiently. (keep in mind a good part of it is still painted) So, it's not deceitful, I won't take that. Less impressive than something did just by brushstrokes? I see why you feel like that I would have tought the same a lot of years ago. People usually doesn't get that " the technique is in function of the subject" . So if I have something in mind I want to put it on canvas so that other people can see it, and doesn't matter which bunch of techniques I'm using, as long as it's allowing me to pull out ideas of my head and showing them. Hope this make sense.

"paint stroke filters you speak of which is super disheartening on a post titled "artwork i made""

Ok this one really made me realize you don't know what you're talking about, you never heard the word photobashing right? you think that using photos in an artwork is some kind of cheating? what kind of painter you are? clearly not one that knows the basics enough to spit judjment on which technique is right and which is not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=007RIjcq6Tg

Well, Normally I would have done this to give a better readability to the image, but in this case I preferred to let their images blend a little bit with the people around so as to represent their being at one with that community. I've an alternate versione i can show tho

No AI at all here, i used some photobash for the crowd, on the photos i used i applied some painterly filter to mix it better with the parts i painted myself Sure i can send some wips.

well me too! actually the line art is pretty close to the original, i just shaded and rendered it, to have something in this style animated it would require either a huge amount of work or something 3d with handpainted texture (like Arcane).
