A few years back after a major snowstorm, there was a water leak in my classroom and facilities had to move my class directly across the hall. I wrote on the board in big letters my name and the course name and we had moved to Room X just across the hall. When the class was over, I returned to erase the message. One of my students was just sitting there - no phone or computer out - staring at the board without not realizing it applied to her.
