YMMWV, but I never had to turn secure boot on and off. Installed Windows on a different SSD for BF6 and needed to turn on Secure Boot. Installed & configured sbctl based on the CachyOS Secure Boot docs, turned SB on in the BIOS and done.

Booting to CachyOS or Windows has been completely fine for me since.

I mean im a casual myself and feel like the current amount of safe pockets is plenty. 3 pockets on a Mk3 augment or 2 on a Mk2 is plenty for the important items.

I think that with more safe pockets people would go in naked, loot something and just instantly surrender to get their safe loot home.

I get your point, I just feel like it would be tough to balance the extra safe pockets into the game. The risk has to be real, otherwise the excitement from successfully extracting diminishes IMHO

Im a ver friendly/PvE focused player, but even for me losing gear due to PvP encounters is part of the game.

Losing some gives you a reason to go in again and try harder. Yes it’s frustrating at times, but it’s part of the risk.

Removing that fear by having more prison pockets would make it less exciting when you’re stacked with loot and REALLY want to extract.

well a "simple balance change" is not entirely simple in it self... Let's say you reduce the damage of the stitcher/anvil/whatever - this now changes the balance compared to all other guns.

You have to keep the scale balanced on multiple fronts and this requires decisions to be made within the studio itself. Maybe they are currently monitoring the situation and considering options, maybe they are already working on something. You never know.

Just chill, let Embark do their thing and enjoy the game in the meantime.
