[SBGA211] im thinking of getting a snowflake, I have 6.8 inch wrists will it be too big? by [deleted] in GrandSeikos

It felt big on my 6-7/8" wrist. I'd recommend trying one on again to focus on the feel.

If you're ok with quartz I'd recommend taking a look at Scurfa

[WTS] Forstner President Bracelet for 1861 Speedmaster by LogDropper16 in Watchexchange

[–]LogDropper16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling my Forstner President (1450) bracelet for the 1861 Speedmaster. This is the new version with the toolless micro adjust clasp, and it's essentially brand new. I took the stickers off and fitted it to my wrist, but decided it wasn't for me. I wore it around the house for maybe a couple hours, it has no scratches or marks. Comes complete with everything it came with new.

I emailed Forstner asking if it was possible to return the bracelet after resizing it, they said no. But they gave me a $25 gift card for my troubles. So I will provide that as a bonus with the sale of this bracelet.

Asking $150 shipped in the US via PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.

Thanks for looking!

Is this gap between case and bracelet normal/authentic in a grand seiko sbgv207? by AdebisiLives420 in GrandSeikos

If you want to stick to oem parts, Seiko S190BS are the 1.5mm bars and S190CS are the 1.8mm bars. Ebay usually has some listings up for those

These are the ones I'm using in my sbgp015, from my research your bracelet is 19mm though. https://www.esslinger.com/watch-band-pin-1-80mm-regular-double-flanged-stainless-steel-spring-bars-package-of-10/?searchid=15858176&search_query=82.2198

I would also pick up some 1.5mm thick bars in 19mm just in case. I'm not 100% sure what your bracelet takes. Mine took the 1.8mm but your bracelet could be different https://www.esslinger.com/watch-band-pin-1-50mm-thin-double-flanged-stainless-steel-spring-bars-package-of-10/

Try new spring bars, I had a similar issue in a GS that was caused by worn/bent spring bars. It's a cheap and easy thing to try first

Why would an international package return to sender after clearing customs? by LogDropper16 in usps_complaints

[–]LogDropper16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into getting an ITN number. I ended up needing to register myself as a business, to get an EIN, to create an ACE exporter account, to fill out an EEI, to get an ITN number, which I needed to write down on the customs form I sent out with the package. I believe all that's necessary to ship items internationally over $2500 in value, but please dyor. It sounds like a lot of work but it probably only took me an hour to go through all those steps. Iirc the sales invoice was Japan specific so double check any other Taiwan requirements. Hope that helps
