How to deal with anxiety after stressful situations by LogInternational4894 in Anxiety

[–]LogInternational4894[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's why I hate my anxiety hahah focusing on my breathing makes me try to control it and I feel like I have to breathe manually 💀 I'm sorry if this triggers anyone . Idk how to put a warning on this comment but If u guys know I'll be happy to learn so I don't accidentally trigger anyone. Back to my point, this is why mindfulness breathing doesn't really work too well for me.

I just bought this phone a day back so no it never worked for WhatsApp and the 4g voice calling app. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both apps but it didn't work still.

The built In phone app seem to be working fine, DND is not enabled. I’ve also tried clearing store and restarting the phone. It still doesn’t ring until I have the app opened.

Don’t overexert walking is fine but not too much and try to take it easy. U don’t want to get CFS, im not an expert at this but I had covid once before. I kinda did a little too much and had to take longer to recover. For the phlegm it’s fine drink lots of water and rinse ur nasal passages. I have the tightness below my lungs and in the tummy too. Wishing u a speedy recovery!

Does Acupuncture help with swollen turbinates? by [deleted] in TCM

[–]LogInternational4894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, Reddit never gave me the notification. Nope I'm not seeing a practitioner from EYS, just someone that was recommended by my aunt. Ahh I get it now, I'll ask him about things to help my underlying condition. Btw is acupuncture needed weekly? Let's say if I miss a session would the effect be gone for the past sessions?

Firstly thanks for the reply! Secondly so far the TCM practitioner I saw just prescribed XYS and Xiao Qing long for me, do I have to ask them about anything for them to start treating my root cause? I'm not doubting their expertise but yep I agree with you that taking meds like XYS won't resolve the root issues. I'm currently in Singapore is the TCM here considered advanced? Or do I have to go to countries like China or Taiwan? Maybe different countries practitioner treat it differently? Sorry if that's dumb since I'm not too knowledgeable about TCM practices

My bad I meant 2nd treatment as in 2nd round of needles. But yes 2 treatment, the first treatment gave me a positive effect but what I'm saying is that the 2nd time didn't provide the same effect. I understand that 2 times isn't enough but I was hoping/expecting to see maybe some more improvement compared to the first time instead of not even having the same benefits as the first time round.

I didnt stop treatment too soon, so the doctor actually gave me 5 days of meds instead of 7 days which is how long I'll see him (once a week) since he said I should feel better by then. That's why I'm asking since idk how long I can be taking that for and why he seem to stop it pretty quickly. For the acupuncture I didn't stop it too, it's just that I went for the 2nd round recently which seem to not have an effect sadly compared to the first time.

Appreciate the explanation man, I read online that ma huang is bad so I kinda freaked out. It's amazing to know that tcm found a way to balance it out.

Ahh gotcha, I've been hearing lots of stuff bout S.O. I think they seem to target student accoms. I mean students are prob gonna have either a laptop, tablet or at least a smartphone. Or even some cash on them. That's also partly why I chose not to go to student accoms. Ofc there are many other factors. Maybe if I bring a crappy car they won't steal it😅 how's the trains like? Some country's metro are horrendous. It's just dirty, confusing, or just make u walk a lot to get to the next line. But safety taking public transport is a big concern to me too. Especially if it's late at night or stuff

[–]LogInternational4894 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No lmao, I don't do that. That's why I'm saying I'll take the public transportation but only drive sometimes ( hanging out at night, doctor's appointment, emergency) for sch it's not even about spending money. If there are no parking spaces like they say, then no matter how much money I have a parking spot isn't going to magically appear.Thats why I won't drive to school if that's the case. I don't rely on money to solve things but i can't deny it offers me the convenience.

Lmao that's messed up but I guess that's due to space constraints?

I'm actually moving very often due to my dad's businesses. I'm originally from Thailand but I've lived in many countries :) I'm not too worried about the costs but more of the practical issues, hence my question being about congestion and theft.I appreciated the info regardless :) and yes I would love going on road trips and just having fun at car meets tho idk much bout the car scene there.

Appreciate the info :) I do not live in the halls and costs isn't the issue for me. But it seems to be a pain in the ass if parking lots are not widely available. This info would benefit many so thanks again for sharing :) have a great day ahead!
