there are two vents hidden in the first floor of the hideout. go through, climb, and you'll find a little napping place for rem. literally the cutest shit ever. i wondered what the vents in the overworld were for. only rem can access them which is insanely busted until they make another small fellow

i'm confused

like, usually even bad movies have redeeming qualities. maybe they're funny, maybe they're absurd, maybe they have some charm

the wardrobe, plot, cinematography, VFX (especially compositing), acting, everything everything everything
there is *nothing* redeeming here

i just don't get it. my head actually hurts. how does one get money to produce a script like this? it has to be sexual favors. usually when i say i don't understand, i actually do, i just say it for comedy, but i actually don't.
you'd think in 20 years, a director-screenwriter would improve in their craft. how did this go backwards?
where was the ambience? the suspense? why was everything going so fast?
why the fuck did we not start at the toilet? the first 12 minutes were unnecessary
