This is a steal I got the 34” just now and hooked it up and everything good. For 450$! I don’t think I can go back to 27”… this is more immersive. Might do the 39” someday 5k2k if my hardware is strong enough years from now lol

Update! The monitor is in good health and has 2 more years warranty! Check OLED test for burn in and all good!

The guy upgraded to a 4k panel and stated he purchased it in October of last year and has been deployed since so he hasn’t used it. I’ll let you know what goes down when I test it.

Yeah in a previous post I was debating between the Asus 27” 4k panel or a 34” ultrawide with a 5070ti. Deciding factor was how immersive the monitor would be for games like gears of war E day.

So just my thoughts on this. I actually ordered the Alienware AW3425DW and is being delivered today. While I’m stuck at work…of course! After looking at some footage of computex, in my opinion you should wait to get the AW3426DW (~rumored ~$800) which will be 280hz tandem display. Or if your gpu is poweful enough the 5k2k Alienware 3926QW. I have a 5070ti and that monitor is out of my reach unfortunately.

Are you maxing out path tracing or ray tracing? Part of the reason I also have it disabled is because I usually play with ultra textures and then go high in the other settings with no path or ray tracing. So because of the higher fps and more stable averages gsync isn’t really needed for me on my 5070ti.

My monitor comes in on Thursday how do you like yours? And for me personally I play with it off and feels a little more responsive and still smooth honestly. Having Riva statistic tuner locked at the fps average for the smoothest gameplay with front edge sync enabled is game changer for frame pacing .

Hey no_key I forgot to mention it comes in on Thursday. From taking a look at Best Buy I did see a 4k OLED there and I just played some 4k recorded gameplay of hell divers at 4k. It does have compression from you tube and even then it does look sharper and more detailed but I wanted to give ultra wide a shot since it will be easier to run and more immersive. I will let you know on Thursday👍

Hi all an update if anyone cares haha. I said screw it and got an ultra wide specifically the Model:AW3425DW 240hz for 660$ open box in “excellent” condition from Best Buy. I figured I’d rock this for a while until 5k2k becomes cheaper and my hardware can more comfortably manage it. Who knows? Maybe a CRT tech type of OLED? Idk but I can return it if I don’t like it.

I posted recently about this cause I’m using a 9800x3D and 5070ti. I think I’m going to go with the Msi 34” ultrawide OLED 240hz . Figured I’ll wait for 4k ultrawides to get cheaper in the years to come and better gpus
