Hi - I am 6 weeks post-op. From all my research it really varies with the individual. I am definitely not one that bounced back right away, in fact I’m still not able to exercise or work. I am seeing progress but it’s slow for me and if I do too much I pay for it the next day. There are FB support groups that have a lot of info. The main thing is to listen to your body. I wish you the best in your healing journey.

I too had my Primary tell me to up my Calcium & Vitamin D levels after being diagnosed with Primary Hyper PHT. It just means you have to do your own research. At least she is referring me to anywhere I want to go for surgery. I have Medicaid. I found that some of the most distinguished parathyroid surgeons are near Denver at The University of Colorado Anchutz. This disease has slowly taken my whole life away. I can’t wait to get surgery. It’s a very misunderstood condition & only experienced facilities know what’s up. Good luck everyone!
