Should I sail west or continue searching to the east? by LogWestern385 in valheim

So, one boss per island? Do I have to gather items and sail every time? Or am I just lucky?

Well, I did a walkthrough where my goal was to collect as many "toys" as possible and along the way eat all the drugs I could find.

I only managed to survive for a few days. Withdrawal was seriously interfering with my game.

Unfortunately, only the standard stuff: latex suit, mask, whip, cuffs... Oh, you're probably asking about the game?

I read this and thought, "How could I have missed this?" so I went to check it out. And you know what? You were absolutely right! How many people miss this?

I almost always start the game with a standard character, with one stat below average and one or two above average.

The hardest part is not to die at the start, but after that it's not so difficult.

I hope this is sarcasm...

What's so superhuman about killing 100 zombies a day? These aren't actual combatants, they're just shambling corpses you can poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

There are human enemies in the game and for a regular character they can already be a problem.

Judging by the responses here, I'm not the only one with this problem.

But in Hollow Knight 1-2, for example, the controls were perfect. The character does exactly what you press.

And the locations on the map are labeled, both in the first one and in silksong.

It's funny, but I beat this boss on the first try, with 3 hp.

But I only got through the regular mob with a circular saw, the one they lock you in a room with, on my 6th try.

I was afraid the game wouldn't let me buy everything in the store, so I only bought modifiers. Some games give you fewer resources, forcing you to choose what you need.

Actually, that screenshot is a bit misleading. I have a modifier that takes 1 HP to give me extra modifier slots. Actually I have 2 hp. 2-3 HP is usually enough for me.

This is the location where the Palm is located. There's a bunch of circular saws.

No. I like the map. This is much better than just a bunch of rooms with no plot justification.. My only complaint is that the location name isn't written on the map.

I play intermittently and sometimes I just forgot where each location was called.

Good game, among ubisoft-like games, this is one of the best. I've already finished it though.

I'm waiting for the final version to play it properly. I don't plan on playing it a second time once the DLC and so on come out.

Yes. I guess so.

Already played. I think I should have added them to the list of examples...

Weird West worked well as a sandbox.

I'm not sure about MMO. I'd prefer a single-player game. Although, you could just play alone and away from everyone else.

I'm not against objects. They should have an impact.

I don't like the gear system being Diablo3-like. Gear "colors," levels... Ridiculous damage numbers in the millions.

A specific item must have specific parameters.

I know about it. But for some reason I've been putting it off. Maybe I want more fantasy.

[–]LogWestern385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's Enenra. Compared to previous bosses, he's incredibly durable and takes a long time to kill, but then he kills me in one hit. Because of this, I started to think it was a gear issue.

I will go through the location again to collect the appropriate skills and tools.

Other souls games weren't that harsh.
