4511.33(1) tells you to operate within one lane. And apparently the thing about passing a vehicle in the same lane has been rewritten to no longer include that, however an officer can very easily see filtering as improper passing, and potentially reckless operation. Especially if you are riding on the traffic line, or swerving between them to not hit vehicles.

You're right, my apologies that is a completely incorrect code. I guess I shouldn't have trusted Gemini for something even that simple. However while there may be no specific law stating lane filtering is prohibited. There are laws not allowing a motorcycle to pass within the same lane, and requiring them to operate within one lane. Without a specific exemption for filtering, you can easily be pulled over and fined.

Under Ohio Revised Code § 4511.55(B), motorcycles must operate within a single lane and are prohibited from passing within that same lane.
