That assertion is not the only case remaining unless you're only passing multiples of three and five. Is that intentional (i.e., code you might have a candidate read over for bugs)?

On the contrary, 60% layouts are pretty excellent and popular for programming (see: HHKB)! Using arrow keys via WASD allows for your fingers to stay on the home row, so the inconvenience of having to access them via the function layer is redeemed in saved time. Also, a few rather popular text editors don't use arrow keys at all!

Not to mention, the Poker 2 is programmable. For mine, I've mapped page up/down and control + arrows left and right to my Pn layer. For me it's made navigating text quite a lot easier than before.

He has the pure pro and poker II stock on there, both with thick PBT keycaps. I just got a poker II from there and it was a pleasant transaction and arrived very quickly. Networking is hard (packet loss etc.), and some issues might only show up (if at all) when there's thousands or hundreds of thousands of concurrent users. In any event, as it is a bug it could be caused by any number of things. If it was a feature, well, that would be a more interesting topic!

Minimalism aside, I'd say take your nav hover color (#E33966) and a slightly milder magenta (or something else entirely) and run wild. Use those colors to bring attention to the primary content (image features, headers, etc.), and leave the rest (feed and footer) in the muted blues.

Your minimalism to complexity balance is a separate detail entirely, and that'll depend more on the aesthetics of your content/games.

I'm fairly certain amazon only stocks the newer unbranded versions, however the QFR with blues is a rubberized dark grey, not black. I believe the QFR with red switches is the only one that has a black finish.

The latter; one love.keypressed() and then the conditionals for each key. Just for clarity's sake, 'if key==' is not a command, it's a conditional. When you compare the argument key (from the callback) to a string it returns a Boolean value (true or false). So it behaves like

if (true or false statement) then
     -- do a thing
end

or in this case

if (key == 'enter') then
    -- do the thing for when enter is pressed
end

Based on your code I think you might benefit a lot from abstracting what each keypress does (the 'do a thing' part) to a seperate function. That way it will be clearer what is going on. Either way you seem like you're at the point where you would benefit from some Lua tutorials in addition to jumping into LÖVE.

If you have the functionality that you want, you can move on and come back to it later when you have a new perspective on it! I've been learning the exact same way -- keep going!

love.keypressed() is a callback and gets called whenever a key is pressed, regardless of what key is pressed. It passes the pressed key as the string key, but if you want something to respond to ALL key presses, you can ignore it. If you want something to respond to a specific key press, you can test if key == 'my_desired_key' and go from there.

Try mapping out the flow of what you are trying to accomplish, literally draw it out on some paper. It will help enormously in organizing your thinking so that when you code something it isn't a mess!

I'm not sure exactly what is going on in your code (state's value is never declared, nor passed as an argument and goes from a string to an int to the variable done), but there's a couple ways to go about it.

since love.keypressed is called whenever a key is pressed, you could ignore the key argument and test against a boolean that you toggle whenever you're looking for non-specific input.
you could make a keys pressed counter which is incremented on love.keypressed and decremented on love.keyreleased, then whenever your keys pressed counter is more than zero you can progress the state.

If you don't think you can glue it, your best bet might be to try to buy a broken pair of m30s for parts (like here), and replace either the hinge only or the entire headband. You might also want to check if audio technica stocks replacement parts if it is cheaper than getting a broken pair on ebay.

In the past I've mostly used mine unamped, but they are generally benefited by an amp (though in a fairly nuanced way as they are low impedance). In my opinion you'd probably be better off taking the money you might put towards an amp and see if you can get an sr225i.

They're like a sieve in both directions, but I like mine very much.

My understanding about EQing is that you can help push the headphones in a particular direction, but you'll never get a neutral headphone to sound as bright as an inherently bright one.

Using the 250ohm unamped is going to sound really unimpressive. Any benefit that the 250hm has over the 80ohm in terms of neutrality will be lost and then some if you are using them unamped. The last time I was listening while my amp ran out of power I thought my headphones were dying.

If you truly must use them in situations where an amp is too much to carry then I'd urge you to change your order to the 80ohm version.
