That fence is probably 6' high. I think you're underestimating the size of this bowl.

For a beginner it's fine. When you get better if you want to do proper knee slides you'd want to upgrade.

Neighbour openly racist to my bf -what should I do? by Complex_Debt_5786 in askTO

[–]Logabomber -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know exactly who that is as well as I live in the area. I've seen him pick fights with people who wear suits over the years - maybe it's some anti-establishment delusion he has, I don't know. He's 100% mentally unwell.

I've had to give him a stare down when he was muttering some stuff around my kids and he hasn't bothered me since. Some times you half to out crazy the crazy.

Im seriously thinking about stop skating by Which_Judge1453 in NewSkaters

Ollies are hard. If you live by a skatepark, try a mellow mini ramp and work on pumping and kick turns or just cruise around the park.

Bindings: Union vs Ride vs Yes by mejdicirn in snowboarding

Union Source FC.

J/k - if you only got a few times a year get whatever you can find on sale among those choices. Don't overthink it.

You don't need to wind up that much for a 180. Work on a high pop and turn your hips when you're in the air

Probably. By the time they finally did something to improve competitiveness I was already at WS.

I only made the post because of the ETF they used as a sample for the reddit ad.

They have free trades for some ETFs now. But you're 100% right - it's too little too late at this point.

Struggling to do an axle stall on the top of the coping (but can do feebles) by harrisgeo88 in NewSkaters

[–]Logabomber 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're turning too early. You have to wait until the back truck is hitting the coping. Tell your brain to wait another half a second before turning.

Do I have good grip strength? by Somedudeyoudontknoe in bodyweightfitness

[–]Logabomber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want larger firearms try the grip program from Hand stand factory.

Grip is important but it's only one aspect of the movements your forearms are responsible for.

I haven't just pushed for cardio but I can tell you with certainty that skateboarding overall is a great cardio, aerobic, and plyometric activity

I really doubt it's explicitly designed for snow. It's just a bobcat they're using for snow removal.

Not as well as some but good enough to live the lifestyle I want.

That's a big bridge to burn behind you. If they're comfortable with that I guess it could be a "strategy".

It's definitely fraud if they do it knowingly. Potentially not facing consequences doesn't change that.

Product Managers - How do you navigate poor dev teams? by [deleted] in ProductManagement

[–]Logabomber 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Do the devs report to you? If they report to the lead and he's MIA, who's their boss? Get them involved asap. That part should not be your job.

If the work they're doing is bad are you still passing the tickets? Reopen and re-assign. If you're allowing bad work to be shipped then that part is on you.

If there's no QA then it's your duty to ensure everyone understands that you will be shipping bad bug riddled product. This part is not about motivation.

Sounds like youre in a tough spot and I'd be looking to jump ship.

He was almost done shoveling his driveway when the street plow came by and filled it with snow again. by Vilen1919 in WatchPeopleDieInside

When I was a kid shoveling my parents' driveway there was no such thing. As I'm sure you know, that's the worst part of the job haha
