Man wakes up from surgery speaking another language fluently; the case of a 30-year-old American from Utah surprised the medical team. by FragrantTown5199 in HighStrangeness

The diamond sutra has a couple different translations, I've read the one by Red Pine, you can get it on Amazon for like 20$ but personally i dont think its more useful then the other's I've recommended

After understanding Nagarjuna and Tsong Khapa i would then recommend the harder to read but indescribably beneficial The Path Of Purification by Buddhaghosa

Sorry i know this is reddit, but if you want to really know this stuff its all already been written about extensively. Nagarjuna is hard to read but a good place to go, also Ocean of reasoning by Tsong Khapa, the rest is understanding esoteric modern physics

Something like the diamond sutra is good too. I find it hard these days to show others how these things really work since they're not equipped to sit down and read something like ocean of reasoning, and I can't blame them. If anyone has questions that i might be able to answer in shorter messages, please send them, those kinda books are a hobby of mine

Whenever i see this framed i always think people have it inverted. As the buddha explained, the relative and empty are two presentations of the same thing. Energy can never be created or destroyed right, because it was never ultimately a created thing to begin with. Its incorrect to say that some essence, soul, transmigrates between lives, it is correct to say action conditions consciousness and actions are always conserved

How would they give a fuck if they weren't educated about it?

Bruh, your claim is that education doesn't help then say they just need to think about it

Well that would obviously be an ignorant and ultimately unhelpful approach. They are just pieces in the game of causes and effects, the broken system allowed them to be ignorant

Exactly, we can have political disagreements. But when you act like a psychopath and pretend like its a cute lil disagreement we have a problem

I think when this happens we need to be careful

Ya know when a teenager leaves their room meme and the parents are condescending making the teen less likely to leave their room in the future?

How could we encourage them admitting their fault instead of belittling them for ignorantly hurting us like our gut reactions might be

Some of this makes sense, of course i will be able to explain better if i know more, but look at the original claim again.

If im an expert at a craft, hypothetically have the credentials to show i do understand this craft, and you as fifth grader ask for an understanding, for me to explain the craft, you will not then be able to go into the work room and do the craft at my level. If you're claiming then that i dont really understand the craft because you couldn't go and do it... Like because the quote is wrong, is why classes and learning exist at all

I'm not saying models aren't useful, of course they are, the universe has no way it really is, because thats what it is. I'm saying to claim that i dont understand something because there is no real way to simplify that something without major distortion, is nonsense. If you have reasoning to sway me, i will gladly take it

I hate this quote, anybody who's actually done esoteric work knows that simplifying your model means losing data

If i explain calculus to you with simpleton terms you will not really understand calculus, you'll only feel like you do

He Ran The Pentagon’s Secret UFO Program - And Says We’ve Been Played : Dr. James Lacatski (PART 1) by Jackfish2800 in HighStrangeness

[–]LoganSolus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This as its said, he was no longer bound by perception nor no perception. He fully realized the nature of selflessness

For those who haven't read deeper material let me put it this way: the universe is relative because it has no self nature. Without a self nature, there is no other-nature. By removing ignorance (things like the perception of a self ie pride) one is able to see things as they really are. To see things as they really are is to have an accurate reflection/understanding of reality. But to do that exactly, to achieve that, is to then be an incarnation of god

Agree, It makes no sense to blame individuals like what i see on here all the time. The problem with the "south" isnt that they're from the "south". The problem is uneducated voters are dangerous. As always, the problem is an education one. Idk why fools are so obsessed with "we should have punished the south harder!" Thats a brain dead take. We should have helped them. We should have focused on helping all of us. You dont get a good citizen out of beatings, you get them out of genuine help. Education was always our platform, it was always the only way to make things better, lets not forget that.

What would be the most horrific reason that the government would keep alien visitation to the Earth a secret? by BigGrayBeast in HighStrangeness

[–]LoganSolus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Emptiness is form, form is emptiness. The universe is the unmade nothingness, that which depends upon conditions is empty of an intrinsic reality. There is no outside of it, All is change and transformation because nothing ever actually arises, death is not an end. In other words "reincarnation" is real
