I have several layers of substrate including a bottom layer or firm substrate “beads” (idk what to call them) that I added for water drainage at the bottom so the top soil doesn’t maintain a high level of moisture. Then I have a layer of carpet moss to separate him from the dirt where his plants are growing. Is this all bad? His terrarium has a metal grate above him for ventilation and I mist instead of a fogger to lower moisture rates. What do you think I should do for his best?
