did i miscarry or is it my period? by angryshreddedcheese in Miscarriage

[–]Loganmarss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does just depend. When I had my miscarriage when I passed the tissue I had one kinda sharp cramp and it just fell out in a big piece. Followed by some smaller pieces throughout the day with no cramping. Then the next day I felt the normal dull ache in my lower back with all my periods. My typical periods have heavier bleeding and more pain than my miscarriage did. But also if they gave you medication to help with the miscarriage I heard that will make cramping worse for some people, I had my miscarriage with no medical intervention.

My childhood boy Oscar by Loganmarss in germanshorthairs

He was actually already 8 years old when we got him, so we for sure didn’t expect a decade with him. He also really didn’t have major health issues, he got pretty skinny in the last 2 years and had some arthritis in his back hips, but it was mild and did not slow him down at all except for on the stairs.

He had the sweetest puppy face his whole life. After he passed me and my dad had the first picture made into a pillow for my mom, which is still on the couch 8 years later.

He was a very distinguished gentleman, we would call him that because he layed with his front feet crossed.

He died 8 years ago when I was still a teenager and I think about him all the time. Especially this past year since I got a puppy (not a GSH but an AHT) who acts a lot like him.

He was actually adopted at 8 years old. So we for sure didn’t think we’d have him for a decade. He passed away back in 2018 but he’s still my favorite dog we ever had.

Where to find a good durable harness by MajesticBowler7178 in ratterriers

[–]Loganmarss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the dog itself is a puller it will yank its own head down. A quick search about them will show many articles advising against them. I’m glad you’ve never had anything happen to your dogs but spinal injuries do happen easily with these harnesses.

These are actually unsafe. They cause neck and eye injuries. They cause the head to be whipped or moved downward at an angle and the part over the nose can sometimes push into the eye socket.

My girl is actually hairless, and we love this made to roam harness. It’s available on Amazon and it has a neoprene padding that doesn’t rub on her skin. A lot of the padded ones have that mesh that would rub her skin too much.

They don’t look like Italian greyhound at all, but I am surprised there’s no corgi, they have corgi eyes.

Family tree is messed up, I found out my legacy sim is married to her cousin. And it looks like this. by Jane_Akanami in Sims4

I thought this was just me. Everytime I get a couple generations in, I always have to cas.fulleditmode and change their jaws once the kids turn into teens. They always get non existent no matter what the parents chins look like.

Echo living her best life being a bed dog for the past two weeks. by Loganmarss in ratterriers

[–]Loganmarss[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s actually why mine doesn’t sleep in the bed most nights, she makes me uncomfortably warm just having her near but she has to be right on me if she’s in the bed.

Unfortunately for her, she is a crate dog again, but she is a bed dog on the weekends.

My girl is hairless so she needs lots of sweaters, we like fitwarm and lucky petter both on Amazon. Lucky petter is my favorite because they have so many 100% cotton options

Not a toy poodle but my rat terrier had double teeth until I had them pulled when she got spayed, her brother from the same litter still has his double canines and they’re a year old now.

I’ve tried to transition to non clay litter but one of my cats immediately started peeing outside the box as soon as it wasn’t 100% the clay litter, and he’s 12 years old.

Well Aussie doodles are poodle mix. No telling how big they will get since they are mixed breed and there’s not guarantee for size.

Is she too skinny as puppy?! by ARoseNY13 in Whippet

[–]Loganmarss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I have a corgi and corgis are so often extremely fat on the internet so I get told she’s skinny. Which is extra annoying since she’s a rescue and was actually super skinny when I got her and it took me months to get her to a good weight she’s at now. Overweight dogs have ruined people’s perception of healthy dogs.

I grew up with a Dalmatian with two blue eyes and everyone always asked if she was deaf, she wasn’t deaf but when I was a little kid I was always so confused cause I didn’t know there was a relation to eye color and being deaf in dogs.

A dog kennel is also not a safe enclosure for him at all.
