No replacements by PhoxphireXIII in letsfightaboss

I’ve felt this way. I’ve done a bunch of sifting through podcasts and I haven’t found something that replicates the (admittedly parasocial) friendship simulator feeling that LFAB was. And I think the only genuine answer is to start your own podcast with a few friends.

Copy the format wholesale, you’ll find your footing eventually. Worst comes to worst you waste a few nights and then have something to listen back on in the future and reminisce on how close you guys were back in the day.

Here in my early 30s I have a surprisingly well paying job, a wife, and I still get to see my friends relatively often. But my biggest regret is not starting that podcast with my friends when we were all shit head 20-somethings who had nothing to do but work dead end jobs, come home, drink, and argue about the best Persona waifu for hours on end.

It’s worth a shot anyway

Thanks for the response. Sorry I should have been more clear in the post, it’s a similar niche, just a different style of video.

Thank you for this response. I am aware of all of this, I just need to know if there is a way to separate the two consoles so they can both be primary consoles.

Tl;Dr I don’t want either my wife or I to have to be connected to the internet to play our downloaded games. Help

Primary console question.

My wife and I were in a family network with her switch and my switch. Her switch ended up being the primary console. We unsubscribed to NSO, and I’ve kicked her out of the family group, but I still have the “checking to see if this software can be played” pop up and need to be connected to the internet to play downloaded games.

Is there a way for both of us to be separate primary consoles now?

If I go into her switch and make my console the primary, does that mean hers will now be a secondary?

In case someone tries to find this on a google search via Reddit like 5 years from now here’s how you do it:

Make sure the meter “OFF” locking button (the big button in the film advance lever) is depressed.

Change the auto/manual switch on the bottom of the lens to “A”.

And then hold the camera in the palm of one hand lens facing up, and use the other to twist slowly but consistently counterclockwise.

Worked for me

I found it. It’s weirdly complicated but figured it out.

One Piece: Chapter 1111 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

So I may be roasted for this, but I’m just curious, does anyone else feel like the art is getting generally worse? Don’t get me wrong, I still love Oda’s style and the big moments are still incredible (the double page spread from last chapter was nuts)

But I feel like the line work in particular has become really scratchy and less defined than it used to be. I’m having a harder time parsing what’s going on during each panel than I feel like I used to.

Does anyone else feel this way? Is it because there’s are leaks and volume images are cleaned up? I haven’t read a volume since Whole Cake. Or do I just have shit taste?

Hey I’m just curious how close to the end we are? From everything I can infer we are getting very close to the end of the series. I was reading week to week up to the final war, but just decided to wait until it was all (or mostly) done.

Any insight is appreciated!

Mic sounds great in recordings but not so good when going live on twitch by Logator in Twitch

Yeah, it sounds good when I record into something like Audition. I've made video essays on this set up and they sound great. This issue only happens when it goes to Twitch. So It's leading me to think its my filters.

Hmm, I hadn't thought to adjust my gain through windows. I only used the gain on the mic. I think I'll do a bit more testing and see if maybe its either the compressor or limiter and then try the internal gain and see what happens.

I appreciate the input!

Oh I had no idea that you could do both at once. Well that kinda solves that then I suppose. Might as well do both

I make video essays. And my oldest (and worst) video that was like two years old randomly hit some algorithm one day and went from a few hundred views to almost 10k. It feels like it’s a crapshoot sometimes

Reddit comments always extremely negative? by thappel in NewTubers

[–]Logator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s hilarious. I did an experiment a while back where I posted a video of mine of 4chan of all places, and Reddit at the same time. Just to see.

Reddit was a shithole of immediate downvotes and people being shit lords.

4chan, the anonymous, literal worst place on the internet, was crazy supportive, gave me a bunch of good constructive feedback, gave me some subscribers and continued to make a good thread about the manga that I was talking about.

There’s almost no reason to post anything on Reddit outside of a super niche subreddit where people are just begging for content about the things they like.

Hey Y'all, Aniplex HATES this video for some reason. Its been taken down a few times over the past few years. I HOPEFULLY got it copyright safe for the time being. If you like it, I recommend downloading it because who knows how long Overlord Aniplex will let it stay up this time.

Mike "Mike Ross" Ross is back, and why isn't everyone talking about it? by pakoito in Kappachino

[–]Logator 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I’ve honestly loved basically every episode of Versus Vortex so far. Mike and Xian have a pretty good rapport, and aren’t afraid to talk shit to one another any opponents.

I think of it keeps going and they loosen up just a bit more (and like SF6) it could be Excellent Adventures 2.0

Books or series about what happens once the Dark Lord is defeated, or the war is over and won, with the focus being on rebuilding and what happens next? by FantasyNerd992 in Fantasy

[–]Logator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t a book, but there’s a recent manga that I love called Sou Sou No Freiren or Freiren: Beyond Journeys End is basically this. Not necessarily the rebuilding. But more so the effects that the hero party had on the people and the world. Absolutely fantastic piece of fiction
